  1. Off topic but Chris Tanev just took a heavy slap shot to the head and left the game with help.
  2. Similar situation to PIT. Both should be going all in to try and win another one with/for their aging cores
  3. If Bo goes, so should half this team as well with him and give us an offseason to really restructure
  4. We also need a few more guys like Poolman who never earned their contract value and can’t seem to stay healthy. That’s our other piece of buttered bread
  5. Prospect/depth pool. it’d be nice to build that up at some F’ing point.
  6. Yeah that’s fine. I’ve watched enough Pens games in the last few years to know that if he comes here, the same folks thinking he’d a good acquisition will be the same ones slagging him when he plays below expectation, which is quite often. who knows, maybe he can maintain his game if he comes here. I agree with you, he has potential to play a really solid 3rd line role…he just disappears at times too. Go read the Pens fans’ message board and you’ll get an honest evaluation of the player if you’re at all unfamiliar. He’s very enigmatic. in terms of working towards solving our cap issues though, if a deal involving him works and relives some pressure, I’d be more than happy with it.
  7. Until Kapanen goes into his routine of not showing up to play. Haven’t we had enough of that…? Players who lack a consistent work ethic? if it’s as a deal to simply reposition cap wise, then I’m ok with it. I just don’t want to be counting on Kapanen to be a positional solution, because he’s not.
  8. Brock should board the Minny bus afterwards and finally this team gets its long overdue core shakeup. Future considerations is fine with me. I don’t mean that in any negative way against him. Just think he needs that change of scenery and the hockey community there would really rally around him.
  9. I’d move him out of that position. he needs to adapt. it’s so damn obvious what he’s going to do in that slot.
  10. He’s played his entire NHL career with one franchise. One franchise that has had a very turbulent existence in recent years. Yeah, professional corporate sports staff will be analyzing every aspect of the player. I realize you dislike Boeser as a player but you can still be reasonable, no?
  11. Yeah but GMs aren’t that naive. The folks employed to analyze potential trade targets will be looking at Boeser’s career, not just some recent play. It’s obvious he’s going to be showcased. Unfortunately just not enough there on the whole to scout from him.
  12. Haha you’re out of control, but if you’re gonna do that, eat some Taco Bell a few hours before
  13. They’re too busy practicing how they’re gonna raise the Stanley Cup in Boston Garden
