  1. I think he clocks out to watch the game with all his focus. He requires full focus, and two hands to double fist. We should all chip in and buy him one of those drink holder helmets with straws.
  2. I just officially turned into my old man and yelled at the tv “shoot the bloody thing!”
  3. MIN scratched Nic Petan. That’s one positive…no former Nuck to bury one against their old club.
  4. Kind of interesting where/who this originated from. That’s just the BOS vibe overall. Slimy and smug (I’ll give props to Bergeron though. I respect him) I mean, which club just signed that bully Mitchell Miller and then had their stupid faces rubbed in their own sh!t? Yeaaaah ok Chara, congrats on becoming a bitch.
  5. Timing is everything. His contract isn’t preventing anything at the moment. Can’t even try to extend Kuz until Jan. And the Garland you’re describing isn’t the same player I see. I view the player universally, not just respective of him in a Nux jersey. He actually is a version of what you describe, just a second unit guy on both PP/PK. He’s a 2nd/3rd line tweener who has a solid 2 way game and great puck control. Overall though, he’s simply a better fit elsewhere and has value to another club where he could potentially fit into a top 6 role. i think there are teams that would bite on him but it’s about timing. At least at the TDL everyone is involved and activity heightened.
  6. But Garland has more value than just being a cap dump. Garland at TDL can fetch a 3rd round pick. We HAVE to bulld assets while we dismantle. Cap space can be weaponized, yeah for sure, but there is no point in deconstructing this club unless we are doing so to build wealth of options as well and at the same time. We neeeeeed more picks. And even B level prospects, more of that too. Depth. we still have a lot of time to clear cap to re-sign Bo and Kuz. Let’s not waste assets to do so. So much waste by this franchise. Really hope we see better mgmt emerge soon.
  7. It’ll get plugged though because Rotten Ronnie is just too big a piece of sh!t Alf just waiting to give it a good ole karate chop.
  8. Looks like Hamonic’s still talking crap about Covid vaccine and Chabot has had enough… https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl-senators-thomas-chabot-accidentally-slashes-teammate-travis-hamonic-on-bench-235009629.html
  9. Yeah but depending on how the money sorts out through any trades we make next, we may end up with a major chunk of change to spend for free agency shopping or being the benefactor of a team that needs to clear out cap. Plenty of $$$ opportunity in there to try and find another couple complimentary players for EP. inherently the crux of all future movement from here on in revolves around EP anyway. He’s established himself to be whom we build the team around. I think the EP we are seeing this year, the stronger, assertive, matured version of him is on the fringe of becoming a true leader and elite level player in this league. He’s our franchise, and likely captain (imho) next season if Bo is traded. We better do all we can to retain him through whatever comes next with this club.
  10. You’re forgetting a raise for Kuz that could be 3.5-5mill+ per on open market depending how he does the remainder of this season. We are in a dire position and need to clear cap. If we lose out on players because we didn’t do a good enough job being able to afford them, then this mgmt team will reveal themselves as being a shit show and no better than previous regimes.
  11. Exactly. No thank you. We do NOT need aging out vets with contract term. Just because it sounds familiar does not make it a good idea.
  12. Interesting idea but Risto is a high risk contract with that term. He's young and very unproven, but i'm not sure he will improve in terms of his hockey IQ and therefore we could just be taking on another whipping boy/Myers type player.
  13. I don't mind Don Taylor at all. imho, Dhaliwal is full of crap and a false "insider". It would be better if he was just considered colour commentary rather than a source for any relevant information.
  14. Chara projecting the B's own bullshit. If he had any balls he'd admit how much the Bruins got away with in their run. Wanker.
  15. By the typical task of substituting and taking on money (shorter term) from teams with underperforming players and simply accumulate draft picks and prospects. Especially those playoff race pack teams that feel an improvement to their roster now will give them a better chance in the battle post Xmas. We have less than 3 months (March 3rd) until the TDL…we should be loading the chamber right now with deals that can be consummated by and/or on that day. Unless this team decides to pull a rerun and simply just looks to trade out a couple F for viable Dmen, and then regurgitate our annual playoff push failure/draft position F up, we will simply be wasting more valuable time and asset value. There are teams who will want our pieces for a fair price. I don’t buy the argument that deals aren’t happening because they are when you are willing to overhaul the status quo. Imho, the reasons we haven’t made said trades isn’t as much because of marketplace conditions, it’s more so we have proven to be undecided in our focus and failed to act when necessary. Then, because of these mistakes, the optics of any trade are already skewed because mgmt will have to explain why we took a loss on certain assets. It doesn’t matter. We should be jumping on the plight of some teams right now before the marketplace becomes a little bloated with teams deciding to do exactly what we should have done beginning with the JTM saga. The only benefit in holding out is that all contracts become a little cheaper further into the year you go and generally some cap space becomes available (aka the VGK plan). If we don’t overhaul by TDL this year and wait until the offseason, it will be proof that mgmt never formulated a real plan from the onset of their tenure. When I see Guenther in ARZ (our pick) playing 12 mins a night with 11pts in 21 games as a 19 year old, and now being loaned to Canada’s WJC team, I feel so frustrated with this club and how they’ve handled the product the last few years. If anything, the market is driven by youth and potential so why the F are we not loading up on that and using it as capital??? Makes no sense to me. We don’t need any more reclamation projects. We need opportunity and future that can start to be established now. just an opinion though.
  16. Like you state…Krapanen. I just believe we can get something serviceable with a Boeser trade, like a pick, rather than a disposable asset that Is just accessory to a cap dump. This franchise should be focusing on acquiring draft picks. Stock that shit. We’re going to need to accelerate the depth of the prospect pool very soon. If we’re retaining, then let’s take a decent hit and acquire the best possible pick we can as well in that sacrifice. If we start retaining that also should signal that the band aid era is over and mgmt convinced FA we are going to go liquid on assets to build up inventory. until FA changes his mind again.
