You dont know if he had trades or not. JB did him a favor by letting him sign where ever he wanted, at whatever price he wanted. For all we know, he extended the good will because free agents would judge how the Nucks handled the situation.

this is only a problem if its more than 10 million. If someone wants to offer that and we get 4 firsts. I take 2 and offer to take Nylander, and take the other 2 and get some other good players, or draft. 3 firsts would of gotten us a package of Risto, Eichel, and Reinhart probably.
