    I believe this is one year early. If you pick up a 2ld &3c, e040 & hronkic raises paid by myers off the books next year ,we are back in cap hell the following year. Impatience, the hallmark of the canucks.

    This will only exasperates the damage to cap space which Hronek trade did. In 1-2 yrs need contract detentions with little cap space available. What do you do then?

    The context was the loss of an opportunity to move from the middle tier to the upper tier. I'm the middle tier there is a lower chance of drafting elite 1st round talent and should you make the p!ayoff, you are basically 1st round cannon fodder. In my life I had the excitement of 82,94 and 11. I wish that for all to experience more than once.

    The owner and management has again traded off the future for playoff dates,not even this year. I'm 76, my opportunity to see the Stanley Cup win by canucks in my lifetime went to slim or none. My only response that I can control is economic therefore I shall not buy a playoff ticket unless they win the presidents cup first.

    Size,skating ability,passing ability, some experience at WJT. Why not see if a highly skilled player can be developed by Henrick?

    I liked the canucks play in the last 4 games . We still need a 2C + 2&3D. Can Kravtsov be turned into 2C like Trevor Linden was? From what I have read, he seems to have the attributes, needing face-off skill development. We have Henrick Sedin for a teacher.

    I voted Miller, since I feel the team can't have only ep40 as only high-end center.

    How about a Gm that can assess the team and draft ,sign defense rather than undersized wingers. Last summer mistakes are this season's CAN which BB had to carry.

    We are in a period of insanity since the firing of Linden, doing the same policy over and over to get a different result.

    I have been a canuck fan since 1958. Since we have been in nhl, we have mostly done this. We have trade young prospects for 2nd level player to maintain our middling position in the draft.

    I was thinking along these lines, but after seeing Monday's game, I have changed too ep40 must be kept but Hovat, Miller are tradeable. The Miller contract has destroyed the spirit of last year. We are now offence for money, not 2way for the team.

    In my previous post, I stated in my opinion management priorities were.mis placed and they tried to blame the coach this fall. After watching this past game, I'm convince that the Miller contract set the tone for this year's team. YOU ARE REWARD FOR PLAYING A ONE-WAY GAME

    This was mismanagement last summer. Hovat would have been resigned last summer,not for his increased scoring ability, but need of high quality 2C.

    This team needs cap space. Would like too keep these players, but can't with cap space.

    I started to fast forward the game after the 3rd LV goal. The results were written.

    How many goal were a result of Tyler myers mistakenly checking? We would be better off with him at abbey!

    My last straw is Jim constant belittling of Bruce. Bruce produced last spring, but Jim screw up the summer - did not improve defence, did not resign Horvat, signed Miller and eliminated cap space. Also overvalued miller trade value.

    IMO, we have no cap space for partial rebuid. Must be systematic.

    I think that the discussion of BPA vs position has destroyed this team. By picking forwards (bpa) we have a good group but a poor group of defence. The argument was to trade. How is that working?

    This is what we have been doing in the benning era, the results are continual 2nd division status. Let's build the talent pool for 2 more years and have depth to be a 1st division team like 2004- 2012
