  1. Petey for sure. Not often does anyone have a 4 point (k)night. Demko just doing Demko stuff lol, I’m glad he’s ours
  2. And he should just be entering his peak/prime for speed and should be there for 3-4 years. It’s unfortunate because he’s a likeable player... but unless he takes a big pay cut, he’s priced himself off of this team.
  3. Nothing to be sorry for. But I feel like Brock is too slow to be a top liner and should be a tweener on the 2nd/3rd lines because of how slow he is. He brings needed skill, but at the price he’s being paid, it’s low dollar value unfortunately.
  4. Pettersson’s battle level and hunger is looking on another level tonight. I’d love to see this Petey every game.
  5. For Vegas’ sake it’s a good thing he’s big... because otherwise he wouldn’t have the size to recover and the Canucks would have gotten 10
  6. The whole team has played well, right out of the gate. When they come out ready to go from the start they look really good.
  7. My god... the Vegas powerplay looks like they’re going to go to the flamingo after the game and dance in those golden helmets
  8. I would really love to see us widen the gap on Vegas’ playoff hopes. Damn cap cheaters...
  9. Boeser imo is a 50 point player and will be for 5 or so years before he drops off to 30-40 points. I don’t think he’s worth 7.5/season. I’m not even sure he’s worth 5. If you look at garlands career ppg and speed, I’d rather have him if you have to choose only 1 of the 2. I just don’t think the value will be there for Brock unfortunately. Somebody may offer him 6 in free agency, but I don’t think anyone offers him 7.5. There’s plenty of top6 players in the league that should be available for 3-4/season.
  10. Love Miller... but I’d dangle him to see what’s available. And my reasoning is that he’ll be 30 at the time of his new contract. Everyone is reporting that their side is looking at 8years anywhere from 8-9.5 is being speculated. I think that he’s the type of player that will bring it until 34, then start slowing down like everyone else and the back 4 years could look horrible. I think a 4 year deal could be possible but it may cost us 11-12/season and I’m not sure we’re in position to do that. Those are my reasons for shopping him, but if you could get him at 4-5 years at 7.5-8/season, I’d definitely be on board for keeping him here.
  11. Same here. I have this sick feeling like we’ll get a B-level prospect or a 3rd rd pick that maybe becomes higher(conditionally) on Boeser re-signing with a team lower than his qualifying offer before he becomes a UFA due to not being qualified @7.5.
