I think everyone is okay with this loss, because the Canucks looked like they were having fun out there. -

Everyone Relax! What helps me sometimes is remembering my favourite line from the Notebook. So everytime you feel frustrated at the Canucks, just think of your favourite quote from The Notebook. -

Serious question about perceived negativity around this team

I think we’re just getting frustrated that Alec Baldwin has a higher shooting percentage than our top 6 combined. -
Canucks Flying Skate Jersey Could be Making a Comeback

I think that something that incorporates Pride colours fulltime would be a classy forward thinking move by the organization. Something that promotes equality and hopefully helps us achieve more ties. -
Can anyone beat the Oilers for the Cup?
Bure_of_94 replied to CanucksFan8353's topic in General Hockey Discussion
Oilers made 2 major moves contributing to their success. The addition of Hyman and the Subtraction of Khaira. Both were equally as important for their success. However long term they will need a good goalie... possibly Korpisalo or Merzlikins. -

You coulda lost one or the other, but it’s mind blowing that the Canucks would waive both in favour of hunt, Dowling, highmore... -

Yes and I feel Podzy is still driving the net hard and capable of playing 2-way hockey with giving the odd hit. Definitely agree that he’s not the problem. I was good with Green but today I was thinking about the common factors in the last handful of years and when you change 60% of the roster and the results are the same, this lies on the coaches. -

Podzy shouldn’t be scratched this early on. Green must want out. -
[Report] Gabriel Landeskog suspended 2 games
Bure_of_94 replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in General Hockey Discussion
The NHL got it right. There’s never a reason to suspend anymore than a game or two. -
Look when Wilson tried for break Buchnevich’s neck last year then proceeded to choke slam Panarin. I’m sure the nhl has changed and will prevent and/or punish guys in the future that purposely try to injure top 20 forwards in the NHL. No need to have protection for small stars in a league with such a good reputation of protecting it’s star players.

I know as a Dman myself it takes time to get used to new D partners, I’m pretty optimistic about this group. I think we’ll be much better than last season.

[Official] Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball thread

Agreed, it’s hard to cheer for a division rival, but seeing Tampa do well with a low payroll is admirable. -
His confidence was building as the preseason went on and on. I think he’s gonna be a gem even if he starts slower. I like the way he drives to the net and can make stick to stick passes through traffic.

Played in the KIJHL for a season and a half and parts of 2 seasons in the BCHL (when it wasn’t near as good as it has been for the last 10 or so seasons )
