    If Det were able to sign Horvat as part of a deal for Kasper I would see Det adding. As a rental, not so sure.

    Suck it up and keep OEL for three more seasons. It's not like we have a replacement ready anyway. Buy him out in Summer 2026 when he will truly suck. One year of 4.1 million penalty and one year of 1.5. Not so bad.

    Maybe they won't need to add...hard to tell, I am not in touch with the other GMs lately.

    Van Trades - Horvat, Boeser, 2nd Det Trades - Kasper, Wallinder, Copp Copp fills in for Van while Kasper is developing and some cap balance to offset Boeser's not-so-great contract. Wallinder nice d-prospect. And...we are rid of Boeser. Yay!

    Kasper is a top of the line two-way centre prospect and the perfect fit for our long-term centre needs. Already put in a year in SHL post draft.

    Horvat to Detroit for Marco Kasper would be ideal. Unlikely Det would add to this. Canucks might need to add.

    Nucks may end up having one of the best offensive d trios in the league. Don’t think OEL or Hughes are going anywhere. Rathbone might be our best chip down the line, particularly if he shows well this season. Dobson? Foote?
