Either traitor or mental breakdown lol
-
Lmao I just noticed the link was hf boards baha I feel so stupid. Touché my friend.

It's cancel culture. There can be some suggestive posts made here around current events that one could feel as offensive. I know I've made a few. The team is covering its ass. But as others have said a fan run forum is probably for the better. We are all gonna call CFF CDC still most likely anyway.
-
Lol come on can't anyone take a joke?
-
Saniel Dedin was always good for a laugh. Anyone remember royalflush 2233? What happened to that guy?
-
Don't come to the new forum, please.
-
Maybe thats the whole point. He's weeding people out lol. I'm sure there is some that don't want Me there but too late lol
-
Multiple accounts.. I've been on this forum for well over 10 years. Literally decades of my life following this team I'm so passionate about. This was the best place, vintage made it the best spot to get any info not just Canucks related news. CDC will be missed.

I like any Canucks games. But what I hate about pre season is the knee jerk reactions on here and the media. The results mean nothing, it's glorified practice. It's more about repetition of situations and try outs.

Jonathan Toews ends your argument. Quinn would be a great choice.

You gotta put the greatest puck distributor ever in the middle. McD can fly down the wings. Solid lineup though hard to make one better than that. -
[Report] RT calls out ownership for no practice facility
BlakeQuinnAndEggs replied to grandmaster's topic in Canucks Talk
Every other team is able to practice together in the offseason at designated practice facilities. It would help our slow starts. We were able to use 8 rinks much more frequently than ubc. I don't know whatever happened to that. It would be nice to be able to practice at scotiabarn again. It's a good stop gap anyway -

Maybe that's it! Build the practice facility and break the curse. They can parade the cup on the ice of the practice facility and bring Stanley home. -

They can re plant many trees around the new building and parking lot and road construction to offset the removals. They could also create more green space elsewhere to kind of level the playing field per se. I know it's not ideal but its downtown and close to rogers and it would probably be the nicest practice facility in the league. It also creates many jobs. During construction, green space rehab, and maintenance and staff. In my opinion it's definitely a solid option. I would clear cut that park myself for a cup parade. And yes I recognize the importance of trees but Stanley Park is huge, this would take up maybe 5-10% at most and yes we could offset the green space and plant more trees elsewhere to offset the construction footprint. -

Willington and Canada Way... BCIT... where is there room there ? You know where there is lots of land? Stanley Park. But the tree huggers would have a fit and there would be many protests. Right by 2nd beach. Man the free agents would love it, maybe take a discount for once lol. -
I can hear the cap crunch

Aquilini would build it but he needs the zoning and land. The Canucks are part of this cities identity. When you go to New York or Montreal or Toronto, their stadiums and sports teams are tourist attractions. It is laughable that we don't have a practice facility. The owner and the city and the province should all work together. It doesn't have to be right down town. They used to practice at 8 rinks. The BC Lions have their own practice facility for God's sake, in surrey. Stop making excuses BC/van/bby/surrey whoever. They should make it a priority, but it's not and the bureaucracy doesn't help. -

Its not the club it's the government. The Canucks are the only major sports team here. And if they don't play their cards right who knows for how long? They almost left in the 90s with the Grizzlies. They put kilometers and kilometers of bike lanes all around the lower mainland for decades but they can't build a practice facility? Its just not a municipal or provincial priority. -

From the top down and all subsidiaries in between. It takes so long to get anything done anywhere in this province. Remove the gate keepers
