  1. Such is life in sports. WE didn't do him dirty. YOU just need to stop being so emotionally attached to players. Canucks fans never had a reason to cheer like that over the last 9 years. The only bright spot was the bubble with no home games and no crowd. Wish Bo all the best, NEXT!
  2. I don't understand..... do you not think we are on our way to a rebuild cause all signs point to it. This is not Jim Benning. .
  3. Lol just a stereotypical fraser valley dbag. If he wasn't a "pro" hockey player he would be crushin beers at Finnigans or town hall and partying at stave lake and not cleaning up his mess. Destined to be an alcoholic forklift operator at Abby growers pushing Raspberries.
  4. I would say they have finally proved that is their intention by trading their captain who is just entering his prime.
  5. If majority of fans stopped purchasing tickets and merchandise in a protest against ownership we would end up losing the team all together. It's not our fault at all.
  6. Hypothetical trades lol??? Sportsnet national coverage is absolutely cringe worthy. Where is John and John and Murph. Hell I'd rather Sat Shaw and Thomas drance then Cassie and the nerds. A talent show lol... as if the asg wasn't bad enough already
  7. That right there is the biggest difference between Bo and JT. We kept the right player I think.
  8. We want to lose out this season. Tank for Bedard, they will fill the holes. We were losing games before WITH Bo.
  9. So Bo can still be traded ? You would think there would be an ntc attached since they are paying him like their top player, who hasn't played for them yet. This is no different than a free agency signing in July.
  10. The sweetener is the cap space from not signing him to that contract.
  11. I wouldn't say Bo was crap defensively but he's perceived as a 2 way player and he's not. He's more of a power play specialist who's great at faceoffs. Still very valuable, doesn't really have any crazy skills that stand out but has great work ethic. A solid number 2 centreman but someone is going to pay him like a number 1, and I'm glad it's not the Canucks.
  12. The only trade that would be accepted is McDavid straight up for that top pick, and he has an nmc. That pick is untradeable
  13. I 100% agree with this. However I've seen some comments of yours and you don't seem happy with this management. These guys are doing a complete tear down and they don't care who they piss off and the media is eating it up. I love it. I don't know how people don't see it, if anything, JR and PA give me Quinn and Burke vibes. Making the difficult decisions. I see similarities with this upcoming draft as the 99 draft... multiple first rd picks, team tear down etc. These are smart hockey people, with multiple rings, trust the process.
  14. A goalie will never get more than Bos return. Yes Patrick Roy demanded a trade which gave teams leverage on Montreal, but still, it's Patrick freaking Roy. Patrick Roy and CAPTAIN Mike Keane To the Avs for Andrei Kovalenko, Martin Rucinsky and Jocelyn Thibault. Thats like trading a healthy Demko and Horvat for 2 top 9 forwards and a back up goalie/fringe starter. Demko gets you maybe a late first and that's it, maybe 2 later round picks and a young replacement goalie. He's worth more on the Canucks.
  15. Goalies don't equally get good value. I'd rather keep Demko and draft another young goalie prospect high, maybe 2nd rd and maybe trade for a decent back up cause the ones we have aren't cutting it. And if Demko flops I'd rather eat it then the possibility to watch him be a wall on another team. Demko is a big part of this team and management should show confidence in their starter. I don't think there is anything to these rumors, the media are just vultures and Canucks are easy targets
  16. You're on glue. Kesler was miles better than Horvat. You can't even compare them. This Era of Canucks is just not good. There is good players but as a team they don't work. They gut the front office, they changed the coach, now they traded the captain. This is a top down tear down and it had to be done. We finally have a GM who has the balls to make the difficult decisions and people are complaining.
  17. I don't understand the Miller hate. So he's had a couple "lazy" games. This is by far his worst season in Vancouver and he's still on pace for 30 goals. It's just popular to shit on JT.
