  1. They were both fired within hours of each other. To Me it seemed like it was all ownership but you're right I don't have a source. It just seems highly likely
  2. No doubt He even pissed off seasoned vets "We don't know what we're doing!?" JT Miller Rumors of a rift between Bo and JT when now they seem like tight bros. We will never know
  3. Ok maybe "great players" is a stretch. And not all were waived, some were traded like Dahlen But Chatfield Dahlen Gadjovich Macewen Off the top of my head. Not all would Crack our line up but we need all the D depth in the world and who knows what Chatfield would do under Boudreau. Anyway now that I read this it's kind of a stupid pointless argument and I'm Just sour from 8 years of suck
  4. Why did JB sit back and watch all his great players get waived without doing anything. It was FA who fired Green not JB. Maybe JB wasn't the drafting guru many thought because if he truly stood behind his draft picks he wouldn't let his coach toss them aside without recourse. I'd say the longer this goes on the more credit i give to the scouting staff, not JB entirely. Greens problems were JBs problems. Sh** rolls downhill and he did nothing to stop it.
  5. I've been very critical of FA over the last year saying he was the problem all along but this guy is winning me over . F the media
  6. Their D is banged up like ours. Any team is beatable. GCG Hopefully Petey and his short stick start burrying pucks in twine
  7. That was a fake tweet. It was made by a no name during Friday nights game in the 2nd period right after that brutal give away. He's still with the big club
  8. It's been almost 48 hours without any Canucks related off ice news lol. What happens today ?????
  9. I think you're reading too much into it. Stan is not the problem. For all we know Stan disagreed on a lot or most but sticks around cause he loves the team. They are doing a full purge and I believe that whoever is left wasn't part of the problem.
  10. Not to that extent. He would just be an assistant or associate whatever title you want. Every team has multiple faces in the front office. It takes a village of ideas.
  11. He's just a figure head. Associate front office position. Judging by his comments the other day he has been muted and is tired of sitting back and watch this team fail. Maybe FA is going to give him a larger say with same job security
  12. I think that is fake. That tweet was made during the 2nd period of yesterday's game...
  13. They're calling for change and we have been butter soft forever Smyl talks about this team needing an identity and getting back to playing " Canucks hockey" Not sure how we could get any softer. I'm thinking the new regime turns things around in more ways than one. Will it be successful in the long run? Who knows but it will be different I think. Also what do you mean by the public demanding it? Everyone I talk to hates how soft we are and wants to see a tough team for the first time in what feels like forever.
  14. I don't know about that. Centre depth is important and we don't have it. Horvat should be untouchable and if Petey picks it up again he should be too. Boudreau speaks very highly of Pettersson Horvat and Miller and I like to think that JR and whoever he hires will be on the same page as the coach. There should be good communication throughout front office and coaching staff, something that was lacking with Benning and Weisbrod isolating themselves
  15. Lol jagr Kovalchuk and Datsyuk had successful nhl careers. No hate for them going back home. Tram had all the opportunities given to him and he tossed them aside
  16. Some guys never want to leave mother Russia. His parents are probably the Russian equivalent to Trump supporters. Poor (big) kid never had a chance...
