I think this was the best game Miller played all season.. he was flying all night, no lazy plays and moving his feet. If he can play like this consistently then he's worth his contract.

Some of you guys act like this move "totally" doesn't make sense. But if you look at the core's age group it falls in line with Petey, Hughes and Demko's. If you were these players and you don't see ANY moves to try and improve the team in the near future.. would you want to stay here? Players want to win and be given a team that has a chance to compete. Would you want to waste your mid 20s on a bottom feeding team and wait for the team to draft some maybes into the line up? You'd be close to 30 by then. This move gives the core players some hope and confidence in the near future to compete and that would make them consider to stay. If you don't make any moves for the near future then why would they want to stay? This core isn't getting younger and after their contracts are up they can choose to go elsewhere.

Keep Boeser out there. We don't need speed or finish

But there's like maybe 2-3 players on this team that can actually finish like that.

Boeser could learn taking shots like that from Miller

Having Boeser on PP1 instead of Kuzmenko is the wrong decision by Tocchet.. I understand him not playing with Petey on 5on5 but why would you not keep him on PP1 when he's proven to be effective. Kuzmenko would've scored from the pass by Miller unlike boeser who shoots it wide
