The Rangers are tight against the cap and don’t have room. Next year, they have just over $12 million in cap space for 5 fwds inc Lafreniere, 2 dmen inc Miller, would he take a bumper Dobson contract and also a backup goalie.

Almost every year, we seem to win a few games at the end of the season to cause our draft position to drop. I think in the last 2 weeks, we passed the Wings, Caps and Blues. Maybe the Wings will look for a centre to fill the 2c, then have Kasper 3c? Also don’t think Bonk will be around at 41. Seems like he might be going at the end of the 1st.

If we didn’t reach on Virtanen and took Nylander, and took Point instead of McCann we wouldn’t be drafting high enough to get Petterson and Hughes. In a way it’s good that we missed on those picks. If I remember correctly, Benning said they took McCann because they had him going more in the middle of the 1st round.

If only the Blues decided to go full tank but think they’re building around Thomas and Kyrou. Thomas would be perfect. Flip the assets from Miller for Thomas. He’s almost ppg, 53% in the dot, right shot and right age range.

Now that Oel is on IR, he has the time to rehab his injury he’s been dealing with all year, have a good off season of training and will be just fine next season with Tochett and co.

Couldn’t think of other options other than Stanley lol. Bahl would be nice as well. Probably would prefer him.

I don’t see both of them signing. Do you envision Schenn back with Hughes? Schenn was playing too much before, maybe Hronek takes some minutes? If they did both sign, would Burrows be an extra and Johansson on the 3rd pairing. How do you envision the lineup next year?

Think we need more toughness in that lineup. Maybe Stanley from the Jets. He wanted out. If they would take Garland or Boeser for Stanley+ pick and we dump their salary. Hughes ? Oel Hronek Stanley Johansson?

Kampf is left, Gaudreau is right

If we are hell bent on getting a right shot for the 3c, should be looking at Compher, Gaudreau or Sissons. Compher will probably be too expensive so looking at Gaudreau or Sissons. At the trade deadline it seems the Preds might be retooling so I could see Sissons available. If we’re unable to sign Livingstone maybe try n get Foote from them as well.

For the 3c, I would be looking at Gaudreau as mentioned, Kuraly or Sissons. Would prefer Sissons with being right handed and better at faceoffs than the others. BB and one of Garland or Hogs will be traded. Kuz Petey Beau Pods Miller Krav Mik Sissons Garland/Hogs Josh Aman Stud/Di G.

Not really interested in Girard with Hughes and Hronek. Looking at your other recent proposal involving Chi and trading back, was thinking making that a bigger deal where we get Murphy to play with Hughes and send Myers(after bonus) and Garland to help them reach the cap floor. How about they keep Stanley and we’ll take Samberg. Garland for Samberg.

It was mentioned few weeks back. Can’t remember which thread. Don’t think there was an article attached. Just another member mentioning it. Same goes for Hallander as well actually. I can be quite gullible at times though lol.
