hughes passing is off tonight, bo and miller are not in the game, lucky its 1 goal lead with the avs possession.
Feels like the sort of period where the canucks scramble and tie it up on some piece of individual skill against the run of play. Fingers crossed

petterson line is the only one which can build pressure
come on bo, pp goal time
-
Martin is scrambling well, most of defence is trying to be more physical but miller and horvat are awol so far. Hopefully more juice in the second.

Not much you can do there.
Come on nucks
-
that was some crazy scrambling.
Hoglander doesn't look right for that line.
Lazar and schenn are hitting well.

2 of those devils goals were properly disallowed. Not sure about the crease one.

Knowledge Network replayed the crime series "Luther", all twenty episodes that were originally broadcast in several seasons some years ago.
Idris Alba stars as DCI John Luther, a very conflicted and over-worked English detective who spends his time solving serial killer cases all the while having a very complicated relationship with....a serial killer. And a crime boss.
An interesting series. A few weak points in plotting - for instance, many times there never seems to be anyone around except the killer, the victim and/or Luther. Someone is getting shot in the street and there are no pedestrians or people looking out the windows. Also, Luther never seems to sleep.
Thumbs up.
It really lost something with less alice (actress signed to another show) and then they didn't really know how to restart it. Idris and ruth are great though

My favorite stat currently is that the canucks have as many road wins as home wins. Fearless.

They both have 10 games played.
Burroughs 32 hits in 10g
20 blocks in 10g
Stillman. 16 hits in 10g
9 blocks in 10g
We are better defensivly wirh Burrz.
Burroughs is also the better agitator. Picking his spots better. Has a goal, and is a devoted local boy on every play. Stillman started out strong last game then faded away.
I picked stilllman to get the gwg in a one sided canucks victory

The truth is, the Canucks still don't know who they are yet. On paper this should be an excusable loss but the Canucks toughest opponent is themselves which makes them unpredictable, inconsistent and dangerous. Let's hope we see their best tonight.

I think I get what you mean, it feels more dead. It felt livelier back during the late 2000's and early 2010's. Back when we were more competitive. It feels like it's slowly tapered off with the team's fortunes.
The old white noise was great, i guess it was about 2005 when it got taken out, i think it was to do with it moving under the nhl.com domain so they had to enforce things.
Meet a decent amount of people in the 2004/2005 timeframe, wonder how most of them ended up. I'm glad i took a long break from here though 2011 to now.

They're alive!
if they can keep it to 1 goal down until deep in the 2nd half then the young reserves for Australia might be able to level it. Long way to go.
