    It's definitely a truism in that scoring more goals is the way to not give up a lead and more shooting tends to lead to more goals but there is something more. I view it as more of a self belief thing. Giving up a goal to a pressing opponent is understandable but the immediate collapses seem more like a team that expects this to happen and doubts itself. How you do fix? Keep doing the little things without expectations is an overly simplistic answer but its true. Do the canucks take additional risks when they have the lead? Do they play too conservative? Do they leave the space in front too open - i'm biased but it seems like the goals we give up and shovel type in front which overly highlights the goaltender. Do they cruise when leading? Is it just a matter if extra shots (seen too many playoff wins by goaltenders to doubt its just that).
