  1. Updated lines in first post new skate jersey icons and sleeve numbers as i like pain? Makar is in so is Avs starting goalie Not sure about nucks - i guessed delia.
  2. There's always room for creativity. Lots of it shown here. You had an idea and posted it. I was commenting via gif on the likelihood of a fan coup since most threads seem to want the owner and/or management gone. It's just hard for fans to agree on anything from jersey colours, to line-ups etc. Not sure giving one a voice would help. I like the idea of polls for things but they can get manipulated. I'm just not sure it's the fan voice that's missing which is the problem.
  3. Media TV: Sportsnet Pacific Radio: Sportsnet 650 Overview It's the time of the season where we all need some music to keep going. "Big tank wheels keep on turning", "Tank roll on..." and "Would you like to tank for Bedard- it doesn't have to be for Bedard" are various variations of songs in my head in present. Wednesday was a fine small tribute to Gino and the unveiling of the new skate but otherwise the Canucks are "still the same moving game to game".The Bedard Bowl games have been favourable to the Canucks of late, so while a win is welcome, we are just 2 points out of 5. With no practice yesterday we await the lines in the morning skate. We may see dermott back, or even Stillman. In net Colin Dellia is starting to show more consistency than Martin, and let in less goals, so he may be the starter tonight. Kuzmenko scored last game and hopefully we will see him reunited with Mik and Pettey. Quinn Hughes also continued to rack up goals, and may be able to hit double-figures at this rate. For the Avs, they are hungry for the Wildcard spot. Makar sat out the Flames win with injury and is questionable for tonight and they still have some other key players out. Despite this they defeated Calgary last game and will look to defeat Vancouver for the first time this season. Players to watch are Rantanen (3 goals against Van so far this season) and Lehkonen has 5 goals in his last 3 games and has yet to score against the Canucks. Nathan MacKinnon is also 3 points back of 700 career points as well so yet another potential milestone to worry about. We will see Georgiev in net even though they play the Kraken tomorrow night. We can hope for a good game tonight, win or lose, "On days like these, You've got to find it in some other way It's all or nothing". (Bonus nothing points if you can name all the songs) MATCH-UP INFO (canucks.com) Tonight marks the third and final meeting between the Canucks and Avalanche this season: Nov. 23 (4-3 W @ COL), Jan. 5 (4-2 W vs COL) and Jan. 20 (home). 5. Nice to hear it wasn't just me. I was too invested in sports generally. Staying up later in the central US timezone also didn't help and the scf was so emotionally draining that I just got so annoyed and hated how bad they were in the later games. Overall the biggest thing was deciding to take a break until my kids became old enough to have their own interests so now 11ish years later i can revisit things i enjoyed with hopefully a little less intensity. Its hard as i really am passionate but i'm better able to see flaws and harder decisions. I was hoping for an upswing and i did get bummed out when they became a non-playoff team but i am better to accept the losses as being in the long term interests. Overall i still enjoy chatting with the people here and finding out things i don't know.
  6. Happy late birthday. You others are still here?
