  1. I think its a few things compounding for Brock. 1) his personal life, (duke being ill and passing) has been extremely difficult to process and work through. Not being able to see his father through pandemic. This clearly affected his on ice play. 2) injuries. 3) the canuck organization has been chaotic the last 3 years (or longer depending how you assess it). i know they’re supposed to be professionals and expected to deal with it, but truth is, we’re all human. Brock is a very young man and the compilation of events in his life and young career, have definitely impacted his performance. i think a new city and team will help him will help rejuvenate his career.
  2. Must have been decent cork plugs to turn things around when Bruce arrived last year!
  3. Exactly why you need to trade Bo for a few pieces or prospects. No doubt Bo looks good for 2-3 years, but then were stuck with an ugly cap hit (or are you the optimist who thinks the contract will be moveable, like BB6?)
  4. And how many years of Bo playing at this level? 8? Timing is off to keep him… team needs several d-men. If you keep him its status quo… exactly what this franchise has been the last 10 years.
  5. Agreed! Free up salary cap for cap dumps and picks. Please dont free up space to sign Bo (lame captain)
  6. One player doesnt make or break a team. This team has been toxic for the last 10 years, especially last 3 years. Bock has been the subject of a trade every year… warranted or not, thats gotta suck! He gets out, gets a fresh start… will also bring closure with his fathers passing and he’ll bounce back.
  7. 2 different coaches for this group and same result…it better be players on the move
