Thanks for the comments. I'm not blaming the mods though. They had their reason and the concern was that I was being too informative about deal and linking to an external website of commercial nature does seem like a taboo from the mods' perspective. I wish I could just tone down the information a little.

like hunny said. If that's the case, then my thread about steam should've been shut down...

I still can't figure out how I piss off the mods, but they seem to like giving me warning points.
