  1. Always feel like a jerk when I can;t understand someone's accent. You say "pardon me?", they repeat themselves and you still don;t understand and just kinda nod like an asshole hoping it wasn't something you needed to respond to...

      I struggle with accents. They can be speaking perfect english even!

      i'm very bad with names. I've had more than one episode of not being able to recognize or introduce people I'm supposed to know. It usually goes like "Hey "Jimmy" how are you? Um.. fine thanks... ah.... ahh.... " with the person getting po'd. Throw in accents and I'd be doomed.

      Totally agree.  And I used to work in a call center.  It was hard to resolve their issue when I had no idea what they were saying.  And it didn't matter what the accent was.  Thankfully I didn't stay in that job for too long.
