  1. What about all the time BP didn't poke a hole in the bottom of the ocean? Obviously overkill, but Lu doesn't get a pass on his terrible games as any other player on the team.
  2. Fallout new Vegas again. Invented a handgun only build that's quite fun. Also picking away at a Mass Effect 1-3 playthrough for some kind of self loathing reasons. That and Claymore Vanguards are so fun to play on insanity even if the ending sucks
  3. Even if we won the cup that year, Tim Thomas was still winning the Con Smythe.
  4. Lu hasn't been named starter and it's not impossible he'll be a backup either. Not that I am predicting anything, but be prepared. Lets see how Lu comes out of camp this year before we call anything good or bad a lock to happen.
  5. Lu has plenty to prove. He didn't win the number 1 back but defaulted into it. Either he needs to prove it to the fans, the teams that could have had him for nothing or to win the starting job in the Olympics. He's got something to prove somewhere. That's up to him, though and how important he feels it is to him. Either way, it's not like he isn't talented. While I do believe we lost the better guy all around Lu is far from terrible. It would be in everyone's (including his own) best interests to bear down and stop pucks. Work hard and leave nothing on the ice. No more sound bites for stupid media and hopefully a coach that doesn't leave him in for a shelling. Oh, and he has a loooong way to go to uproot the legends of all time. I get that some are superfans, but be realistic. Get a few cups and a Vezina and we'll see. As of now he's hard pressed for a HHOF nomination. That doesn't mean I am trying to say he sucks before the scathing retorts come flying in.
  6. X-com Enemy Unknown. Ridiculously addictive.
  7. It astounds me that there is anyone left in Canada that doesn't know not to leave your kids or pets in a hot car.
  8. San Andreas played the best for sure but I felt that Vice city was the one that fully absorbed you.
  9. There's a clothing shop near the entrance of Solitude that might have what you are looking for. Aside from that there is Linwe's set that has a good used look to it : http://elderscrolls....nwe's_Armor_Set Also the jester outfit if you want to be a little odd: http://elderscrolls....Cicero's_Outfit Adept robes also have a plain traveller feel to it: http://elderscrolls....iki/Adept_Robes
  10. I agree but that's not shared by the powerplay coaching.
  11. he's not on the first powerplay because you'd have to drop Edler off to the second unit.
  12. What was his icetime in FLA compared to here?
  13. Garrison has been the guy all year. If he had more powerplay time I imagine his goals would look even better and he's been great all year in his own end. Regardless of how this season ends, Garrison has been one of the good ones.
  14. If you have dawnguard becoming a vampire lord (curable) will cure lycanthopy Not sure where you are at. If you just helped Vilkas clear out the last of the silver hand, you should be on your way to to help cleanse the harbringer. If you did all that, then make Alea a follower and talk to farkas and that might clear it up.
  15. Did the lack of smithing/enchanting ruin your Fallout experience? (if you had one) I am not saying to take it out, I just don't like that it's the ultimate option. I like the option to be able to improve my weapons like dawnbreaker via smith. What I don't like is how Dawnbreaker is vender trash compared to a crafted Daedric Sword with a fire and lightning enchant that I can make without ever leaving whiterun. It's one thing to be able to make gear that fills some holes, another all together that not making that gear reduces your power. Sure, I play for the story, but also the rewards of loot that improves my character.
  16. My one dislike of the game is that crafted items are better then found artifacts. I literally have to consciously gimp myself to keep the game challenging. I prefer the New Vegas model for weapons. Example: I can buy a scope, extended mags and silencer for my Varmint rifle and do well with it, but if I get off my butt and explore the Broc Flower cave, I can obtain the Unique Ratslayer which is a better version of the modded Varmint. You should have a good reason to explore and adventure. So all my builds are specifically set up to omit at least one if not all crafting skills just to nerf some personal balance. Minor complaint, the rest of the game is excellent.
  17. Garrison would already be a success under most fans microscopes if he was given the cherry powerplay time he was brought in for. That aside, he's been good in his own end, especially clearing out goalie crashers. It's okay to miss Salo and not want Garrison to fail to justify it.
  18. Well, no... If this thread is a troll (and it is) then it's the most successful one in the history of this board except maybe that God thread gong show.
  19. Agreed. Garrison looked very good even without the goal. Solid game and more to come.
  20. Resident Evil 6. The controls are terrible and just not impressed with it. I really want to like this game as RE4 is one of my favourites, but so far it's spiraling towards the B-pile (games I may one day complete, but probably not)
  21. Have to agree. As much as I didn't like his stint here (though not as much as most, it was just forgettable to me) he would make an amazing coach. As far as Linden? What makes the OP believe Hodgeson would stay under Linden? Just because he's Linden, dammit? For all we know he would have had less patience with Cody or never even drafted him perferring big farmer kids from medicine hat. Op asks people not to speculate on Cody wanting out, but this thread is nothing but pure speculation.
  22. Fallout 3, I actually managed to manipulate the character creator to make a cutie: and so I was inspired to do a super good karma run (no stealing, no using scrap metal or purified water to boost karma, only do good) Lot's of fun, since I usually play pragmatics.
  23. Discovering Saints row 2 and 3 are in the spirit of San Andreas. Just wacky fun full of silly surprises. For example in 2 I was about to head for an activity when this happened: Just couldn't stop laughing, it was just awful.
