  1. Pospisil did well today. Moved good too
  2. At least Pospisil won the first round.
  3. I think even Federer admitted at one point that its not fair to compare his success to previous eras. One reporter asked him about him surpassing others in terms of total gram slam victories. Also Wozniak made it to the second round. I'm hoping she is on her way back to top form.
  4. I'm sorry but you kind of put the idea out there. And if its not your intention, then what were you talking about then? Why even bring it up? Perhaps you should reread what you actually typed then maybe you understand why people are finding it puzzling. Help me out here.
  5. Your experience is irrelevant. And i'll counter your point. From my personal experience what you said is totally untrue. That 5 percent did not tug me in any way. Also, you have to realize, your experiences are your own.
  6. That fact is irrelevant especially at how you were using it. "Supposedly"
  7. lol, i guess my younger sister who was born in Canada is actually not Canadian.
  8. Damn it...Milos is now more Canadian than i am by one year. WAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!! I'LL NEVER BE CANADIAN!!!!
  9. Someone should ask him if his butt is bruised or not... lol
  10. Whew, so far so good. Bouchard with the first set. Interesting second set.
  11. I love how people are bringing ego into this.
  12. Man, the argument between Bouchard and her coach is not something I wanted to see right now before the biggest match.
  13. In other news, Francoise Abanda has made it to the quarters on the junior side. Other tournaments Unicredit Czech Open Polansky and Shamasdin has made it to the semis in doubles as a team Sarah FIchman is in the second round of the Aegon Trophy Also for doubles Fichman and Gabrowski has made it to the semis but not together.
  14. I do believe that if Milos can keep it close...its already a huge improvement. I mean, it is Djokovic afterall.
  15. I find his quote fascinating. Unless he's speaking from his family perspective and may be needed to clarify. But that is an odd statement to make. I mean, men need to think about kids as well unless he just dumps the kids on the woman after he knocks them up. I like to hear and watch his attitude when he says it...cause its just really weird. Maybe he's being sympathetic? O.o Maybe he said it wrong or it came out wrong? “Hopefully they will not pursue professional tennis career. Hopefully. Because for a woman, it’s tough. I wouldn’t like my sisters to become professional tennis players. It’s tough choice of life,” Gulbis said, according to Stephanie Myles of Yahoo Sports. “A woman needs to enjoy life a little bit more. Needs to think about family, needs to think about kids. What kids you can think about until age of 27 if you’re playing professional tennis, you know. “That’s tough for a woman, I think.” I wonder if there is more of it. I mean, it is yahoo sports after all. Some parts seem fine and others seem terrible. I don't know. Am I giving him too much credit?
  16. I'm hoping for a good push from Milos or it'll be better if Djokovic just slips and falls. lol
  17. Wow, that was fast. Congrats Bouchard.
  18. I do agree with that sentiment because if you don't beat the best, its kind of cheap. Although the side argument is that it is fair game. Alot of times players win by retirement or walkover because injuries from the opponent. Sometimes we just have to rationalize it by saying, its sports and it happens. lol With the top female players going down, i think a lot of the players that survived feel like they finally have a shot at least one grand slam in their life time. I'm pretty sure when Serena is on top of her game, they would be happy with just one.
  19. With some many top players going down early on the womens side...
  20. There you are hockeyville88, finally on at the same time lol
