Yup.. I mentioned it a few pages back. It's simple if you look at it from a sideways vantage point. The elevated mound gives pitchers a nice downward angle to work with.. Being smaller minimizes that advantage to create the downward change of planes. It's requires more spin, aka more skill/talent, to be as effective as a larger player. The fact that Stroman has shown he can be as dominant as he has been is testament to how good he is. Throwing nasty stuff in the low to mid 90's, great location and sink on his fastballs. I hope he figures it out. He's trending in the right direction considering how bad he was a month ago.
