  1. I totally agree, when we got to 7 goals tonight I was screaming for 10. Boys didn't deliver. Sorry, what I meant to say was, I don't know what you're talking about.
  2. I feel quite happy with this performance, I am also going to the game on the 28th against the Panthers so I hope to see this level of play when I am there.
  3. Yesterday the loss ruined my day from anger. Today it was ruined because I crapped myself in the living room. All in all, worst weekend since college.
  4. Gonna have to wake up early two days in a row? I am writing a letter to the NHL. This is absurd.
  5. Was near Port Renfrew during the storm. It hit while I was hiking along the Juan De Fuca (yes I knew the storm was coming) so I bailed near Sombrio beach. Hiked back up to Highway 14 towards Botanical beach, thinking I could get a ride. Turns out the road was closed from a blown tree knocking out power lines. I walked the entire road back to Port Renfrew 23km in the wind and rain. The whole walk you could hear the trees breaking in the forest around you, I never walked so fast before. Rarely any cars at all on the highway. I got back to my car eventually, this was about 2pm. I took the road out towards Cowichan, but a massive tree was uprooted and blocking that road. So I turned back and took the 14 highway towards Victoria. However the tree that had taken out the powerlines was still there. I was stuck. I drove back to Port Renfrew and took stock of my options. I saw a few other cars head down the 14 highway, so I gave it once last shot and followed. Luckily, some locals had cleared a portion of the tree and cars were able to drive under (scary as $&!# as it was hanging from the power lines) We continued to drive down the road until another massive road block of trees. This time however BC Hydro had a crane and chainsaw team hacking away at the debris, myself and several other drivers got out of our cars and began helping the workers clear the road. 15 minutes later the road was cleared and I finally made it back to Victoria. What a day that was..
