Not for me. I love SoCal. So much to do, so many great places nearby (Vegas....). I wouldn't miss the crap weather here whatsoever. And right now in upper North Van.... it's coming down reeeeeally hard.

Anyone catch the St.Pierre/Serra segment on Off the Record?? I was at work and noticed it was on but I couldn't turn the volume up..... anyone know what was said??? I saw them watching their last fight while sitting next to each other. Dunno how ANYONE could do that!!

Where did you get 15-20 cm from??? You have a link?? The Weather Network says nothing but rain in Vancouver, and even where I am in North Van, it says a mix of rain/snow and MAYBE 1-3 cm of anything.

I have no problem with giving him a warning, but stopping the fight like THAT, with ZERO warning??? Come on.... seemed just a tad f'ed up to me.

No mention so far of the controversial "stop" during the Lesnar/Mir fight?? What the hell was that??? I always thought you got a warning for hitting the back of the head. Also, Mir was turning his head when he hit him. Brock was in a position to absolutely destroy Mir at that point. I still call bs. Best fight of the night for sure was the preliminary fight between Tim Boetsch and David Heath. What a debut by Boetsch. This guy looks like he could be a real serious contender!

Sylvia will clench and bore, clench and bore. That's the only way he wins now. He's a big oaf, plain and simple. Very psyched for tomorrow. I'm hoping Lesnar does well. He looks like he's going to, and Mir hasn't been the same since the bike accident. Yay, a Tim Sylvia fight. Apparently he's still trying to win the crowd over. Go Minatauro. Don't know if anyone's noticed but Jeremy Horn taked on Nate Marquardt. It's his first fight in the UFC since early '06. Should be interesting as well.

Coming down in buckets right now in North Van. I got snowed in today, I wonder what tomorrow's gonna be like.

North Van, at least upper, is just pure white right now. Huge flakes, close to maybe a foot of snow up here. No way I'm making it to work.... bummer.

Ugh this sucks.... still just waiting for the inevitable. Waiting in an almost empty restaurant STILL, waiting to close up at 2am. And apparently the roads are just terrible. Gee, can't wait.

Update: Marine Drive in North Van is starting to become pretty covered. And for fun, I checked out The Weather Network's forecast for the prairies. My god, how do they live like this: Regina -30 (-48 Windchill) SNOW Winnipeg -20 (-38 Windchill) SNOW Seriously, how do we even begin to complain here on the West Coast?

My last day is Feb 13. I start at Milestone's West Van on the 15th. Eight and a half years here.... end of an era! Love the idea. But Marine Drive is actually decent right now. It'll be worse in an hour or so I'm sure. What really sucks is having to sit and wait here for four more hours, when I live basically at the bottom of Grouse Mountain. The roads are gonna be absolutely brutal after 2am.

I was gonna say.... And coming from a Canucks fan, how do we even argue with a fan of a team that has at least ONE Cup? Baffles me. Yayyyy! Snooooooow!!!!

So.... The Ultimate Fighter 7 coaches announced. Forrest Griffin vs Rampage Jackson, and of course, they'll duke it out afterwards. Also, UFC 81 Feb 2 will be Brock Lesnar's debut vs Frank Mir. Should be interesting. Can't believe he dropped 35 pounds or so, he looks the exact same as he did in the WWE.

Sad but true. Liddell used to be the man... not so much as of late. Silva's a beast too. This could be worse than the Rampage fight if Silva catches him early.

Tonite's freeebie on Spike was just awesome. Two amazing fights (Huerta vs Guida and Koppenhaver vs Rollins), not to mention my boy Danzig dominating the farm boy. I'm psyched for UFC 79. I'm gonna be down in SoCal for it, in Liddell's stomping grounds. And I'm gonna cheer for SILVA!!!
