In reference to Ben Kenobi... Off the top of my head, Naslund and Bert has 47 and 48 goals respectively about a decade ago. That must have placed them in the top 20 for total points, and they were 2nd and 3rd in goals that year. True fans know what I'm talking about. As for Daniel..... Forget the shots on goal. Forget the PP time. Forget who he's playing with. Forget his new contract. Forget the work ethic at practice. Forget all the make-work excuses.... Watch the guy play. Look for the heart of the lion. Look for the guy who WANTS to score. How many times has he passed the puck when he's had a chance to shoot? Watch the psychology of the man. He's a muffin right now. No fire in the gut. No shots. Zero shoulder to drive to the net. He's got the button hook on the side boards down. Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa look to shoot the puck hard, low and fast. Everytime. Daniel looks to unload the puck or go for the tap in. Anyone see the cross crease pass last night. From the crease to the side boards. FROM INSIDE THE CREASE! Brad Richardson was stunned/and checked. TRUE fans that have played hockey understand this. Everyone else just comments and wears the jerseys.
