  1. I’ve noticed some folks selecting futures for their teams. Are we doing this fantasy draft as an indefinite run? I thought he just one year! Lol
  2. I have EK on my team. Now that he is traded in real life, does his Cap hit change with his previous team eating part of his Cap?
  3. Sorry Bob. I spelled it how it should be spelled! Lol Fixed
  4. The Seattle Kraken select defenceman Filip Hronek. Spelling fixed for @Bob Loblaw! Your up @Dion Phaneuf
  5. Thanks. Need about an hour to figure this out. Also called into work right now. Will do asap
  6. The Seattle Kraken’s 4th pick is Mark Scheifele, who will serve as the second line centre behind Petey. Goes well with my EK, the defensive imposter, and Vaselesky, the reigning top 3 NHL goalie.
  7. People need to get some AC. Must be the heat. Too many folks are angry here, lol
  8. The Seattle Kraken choose goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy with their 3rd choice. Your up @Dion Phaneuf
  9. The Seattle Kraken select forward defenceman Erik Karlsson in the second round. Yeah he is a lot of Cap but he is surely gonna get a lot of points again. I hope!
  10. We’re gonna kick a$$ Canucks will not only make the playoffs, they will win a round or two (hopefully more!)
  11. The Seattle Kraken are proud to select: Elias Pettersson as the 7th OA pick.
  12. Copy. Let me figure this out
  13. This thread has become completely derailed
  14. I knew Aman was terrible but this is a whole new level. As for Brock and Beau, they both have proven upside. Beau, when he first arrived, was on fire. His speed and ability to go N/S was very impressive and he outplayed the old Bo. He looks revitalized from Long Island and that War chart doesn’t really tell his story. He will continue to impress. Brock will hopefully regain his form after dealing with his psychological and physical issues he faced last year. His War chart doesn’t exactly sum up his last couple years in terms of talent. Both Beau and Brock will flourish this year, either in the top 6 or 3rd line. The one guy you mentioned in Danton Heinen, he is one of my close friend’s nephew. He would be a great add and is definitely a solid “traditional” bottom 6 addition. Danton’s War chart is excellent and has good attitude.
  15. 1 year 1M Thats all I’ll speculate. Beyond that, speculation can become a nightmare.
  16. Like I said. Cole played top 4 minutes in Tampa. A contending team. Everyone expected last years lineup to make the playoffs. This team has since improved its structure, coaching and personnel. I’ll only give you the part of injuries to the centre position. If Petey or JT go down, this team is in tough as Bleuger is not a top 6 centre.
  17. Cole is a good defenceman. He played top 4 minutes in Tampa and plays a heavy game. Good on the PK too. JT played well as a centre. Seems to me that you’re the one making excuses for the Canucks to fail.
  18. You’re wrong. We do. We had one last year too but the team was in complete disarray in its ability to play defensive hockey and being able to kill a penalty. Now that’s all sorted out with this coaching, structure and PK specialists. The RT demand on these players being in top shape at the start of the season is also key. There will be no more games thrown away in the first quarter of the season. Canucks will place in the top 3 of the Pacific.
  19. Finally something happened. Been too quiet for too long. Good move by Ottawa. I hope they make the playoffs, along with us of course! Vancouver vs Ottawa 2024 Stanley Cup Finals
  20. Team depth, structure and coaching are key elements in these situations.
  21. People saying Petey going for max money need to stop. He’ll get paid but he is not gonna be busting our team Cap. He is more interested in a winning team. I remember how he said the direction of the team is most important to him when he signed that last deal.
  22. A “settlement” meaning that they paid this punk to go away. I’m a bit miffed at that. He never should have been signed in the first place. They knew full well who they signed and his baggage. The Bruins thought no one would notice but after they got busted and the news picked up on it, they tried to save face. I’m just glad some players in that team took a stand and showed some decency.
