Did we get shut down because most of us don’t want our team to win anymore games? -

Damn. I guess we have to trade him then. Negotiations could go sideways and we lose him for nothing -

The ending of the buyout penalties, salary cap going up slightly and the money we save on Bo will go to Kuz and a proper top end defenceman. Bedard will be drafted and make an immediate impact. He will take over the goal scoring plus a lot of extra. Canucks win the cup in 2024. -

Bo should be the most coveted player to be traded. We should get a first, a serviceable centre and a top defensive prospect at the very least. Rental or not. -

Yup I agree. We have that on the other side of the coin as well. -

The only issue with waiting is that this team can go on a run and just barely miss the playoffs again. Then this insane management team would ponder what if we kept Bo and rode him to make the playoffs? This team should be cut from the knees to prevent that and sell Bo asap. We won’t be on any heater if he is gone. We will also get a better drafting position. -

Ya that giveaway by Hughes was as bad too. He was just going off to the bench and passed it to an open wing with no Canuck in the area. Led to that odd man rush and right in the back of our net. -

This probably would be the best case scenario and probable. Bedard is a special kind of player. -

Is it not possible though to bottom out and contend the following year? -

We should get a good haul for him. We should do this trade soon so we can lose even more games for Bedard. -
[Rumour] Canucks interested in Alexis Lafrenière

I wouldn’t say he was “crap” defensively either. He was ok. But not crap. He finished the season at plus 15. His big issue this year is his speed. He is not playing well as a result. Gets frustrated too. Everyone knows it, including himself. All I can hope for is that him to snap out of it. I agree with you on the 2 year contention time. We are nowhere close to that time frame. -

No one is debating that Bo is better this year than Miller. Alfie saying overall in the whole time he has been here, Miller has been the better player. -

1) he was not “crap” last year, he was our co-mvp 2) they had to sign him because management felt the offers were not good enough and 8M for a 99 point player is good. Folks around here were thinking he was going to sign for 9. 3) Miller’s 7 year extension would have helped in that 2 year point of contending that they talked about -

We would have to sell low and retain. Not much of a market right now -

That Bedard today, Wow. If it only was possible to be as bad as the Ducks or Blackhawks….. -

You can’t handle being wrong even after all the facts came out. BB stated the chronology and Delia was just confused. He said clearly that once we had possession that Delia was to go out. NOT for Miller to go up the ice as you put it. Nice try -
