  1. I would not be at all. Based on his NHL projections I actually expect him to have 65 points MINIMUM. I know this is having totally unrealistic expectations but if the stats are correct that is what I am hoping for.
  2. Easy. Because at the draft Juolevi was actually 17 and a full year younger than Bouchard. Of course with hindsight and the fact we knew that Juolevi produced at the same pace as his draft year in D+1 we can maybe put Bouchard in front of Juolevi. However I think most of us were expecting him to top his draft numbers by a sizeable margin considering his age.
  3. Funny thing was I was listening to the radio live and they asked him who he modeled his game after. I was thinking to myself, he reminds me a lot of Tomas Holmstrom...and then of course he says he models his game after him lol.
  4. Not sure this has been discussed but would Pettersson be able to come here for Utica Playoffs once he is done winning his SHL title?
  5. With all the hype he has been getting I'd almost be disappointed now if he wasn't.
  6. I really think this kid will be in the NHL one day. His offensive production is through the roof and I anticipate a really good NCAA season for him next year. Makes you wonder if Canucks drop Hughes down their draft rankings though due to possibly having two guys under 6'? I guess Boqvist falls under that category too although I fully expect him to grow another inch minimum to 6'0"
  7. His production really is quite impressive. Scoring at a rate similar to Ryan Donato ...both in their D+1. What an amazing performance by Rathbone though.
  8. I know it's sorta been beaten to death but now not only do we have: SHL U20 scoring leader all-time SHL scoring leader Hobey Baker winner Allvenskan PPG leader Liiga 2nd in points all-time (U20) for a defenceman We can also add on the team perspective: Dahlen leading his team to SHL Pettersson leading his team to SHL finals (championship still to come?) Let's also throw in as an afterthought: Jasek with 6 pts in 3 games in AHL (small sample size but promising) I'm sure I'm still missing something
  9. Jack Rathbone had a goal and assist today (both at even strength) to help lead his team to a 5-2 victory.
  10. So after this game 7 win or lose his season is over? I take it that if he wins his team also advances to the SHL?
  11. That would be a great idea. One year younger than Philip Holm but 34 points vs 21 in similar number of games. Larsson's AHL numbers are not bad either. Will likely be an NHL defenceman someday. Persson could be a difference maker.
  12. Still early but my prediction still has legs and probably won't bottom out until end of the year or early next year. This will most likely apply to all the other cryptocurrencies as well. None of them will rebound until bitcoin rebounds imo.
  13. I feel the same way. I wonder what my wife would think if she saw "slutspel" come up in my Google search history
  14. Now that's a name I haven't heard in a while. Pretty disappointing season for him even before the injury.
  15. Thanks. That point was partially what I was getting at. Rob I will concede on this matter.
  16. I was replying to this statement. You don't believe centres get the most points so I agreed.
  17. Good to know. His production and age seem to suggest he could be a top 10 pick next year.
  18. You must've misunderstood me. I was trying to state that wingers typically score more than centres in general which is why Kole Lind looks like he's ahead of glass (in points) but with his added responsibilities I still say that he's the better player. Seems kind of like a "well duh" moment, but some posters seem to think Lind is much better.
  19. Good to hear he just keeps producing! Btw, for those who always compare Lind to Glass I don't think it's really apples to apples comparison. Glass is a center and so you can expect a winger to score more points. I don't think that Lind is a better player at this point but he is definitely good value for where we picked him up.
  20. Take a look at that graph again notice that the months of September November and December have the lowest number of players? If you sort by defensemen the discrepancy is much higher. This has been back tested up to 30 years and is a surefire thing that I am not making up. For whatever reason, defensemen drafted with late birthdays do much better in the NHL.
  21. Great news. I think if we expect him to be a really good player in the NHL one day he needs to continue at a 1.75-2 PPG pace in this league as a D+1. So far it seems as though he is accomplishing that.
  22. His name was already pretty badass. When you add Captain it reminds you of another Captain Jack lol.
  23. Don't think I've ever been so excited about a player who you really don't know anything about due to the lack of information. I am definitely reserving judgement and hope that he will surprise next year at Harvard. If there's one positive that I can take out of him remaining with the highschool league is that it will allow him to keep working on his offensive skills, maybe more so than if he were in the NCAA this year.
