  1. What about the "rights" of people who want to go to sporting events, concerts and restaurants without worrying about some clown who thinks he understands science better than the scientists passing on a potentially deadly virus to everyone within spitting distance? You might believe it's your "right" to go wherever you please, whenever you please, but you're mistaken.
  2. Jays win a 1 run game.... ....pardon me while I step outside to see if the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are anywhere to be seen....
  3. Gotta say, if I was an MLB UFA, I would tell the Chi Sox to piss off, as long as they have that fossil LaRussa managing the team. Earlier in the season, he threw one of his players under the bus for the offense of hitting a home run when the game wasn't in doubt....tonight, he tears his rookie catcher a new one, because he didn't somehow guide his pitcher's throw to the outer corner of the plate.... What an effing clown...
  4. Facebook and Youtube...duhhhh.... Pay attention Bishop...
  5. Plus...Alf hasn't had a case of worms in months....
  6. I think you're right and security would be awesome, but I just don't see it in most places... Hopefully, a lot of places will have cameras at points of egress and that anyone crossing the line with a front line worker faces the full extent of the law....
  7. That's the kind of thing that could get you shot in a Red State... Obviously, no Castle Doctrine in China....
  8. Kovalev was definitely a talented player, but I doubt I'm the only one who's most vivid memory of his career is when he pretended to be injured by a slash to the wrist allowing Glen Murray to skate in and score the OT winner for the B's over the Habs....
  9. Slava Fetisov doesn't get near the respect that he deserves, IMO. A top 5 all-time defenceman as far as I'm concerned.
  10. As Alf has already pointed out, EP, since you're including players from the '72 team, Alex Yakushev definitely belongs on the list. Probably the best power forward in the world at that point.
  11. I figure Ovie will get most of the votes here, but I watched the '72 series and Kharlamov was unbelievable. So much so, that Bobby Clarke went out and broke his ankle. Canada likely loses that series, if not for that slash....
  12. Semien batting 3rd in the bottom of 9.... Maybe he can pick himself up....
  13. Are you effing kidding me..... This team has some sort of curse when it comes to 1 run games....
  14. RG made his presence known within a couple of minutes of entering the game.... Really looking forward to when he is a full fitness, so we can see an entire 90 minutes out of him....
  15. Sad news in the hockey world: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nhl/three-teenage-hockey-players-killed-in-car-accident/ar-AANBthS?li=AAggXBR Rest in peace boys...
  16. Not surprised that Foppa is getting so many votes but it's Nik Lidstrom for me...
  17. I don't get excited about preseason wins, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that I told my buddy Keith (a huge Bears fan) that Mitch Trubisky would turn into a solid QB now that he's got a real coaching staff....
  18. Isn't that how people get Baptized in Texas?
  19. TBH, after the first two attempts, I was surprised that he was able to get it down at all. Gotta give Miggy credit on that play. If he doesn't do everything right, Teo is safe.... I guess you never say never, but I'm thinking the Jays might be done. There's a fundamental flaw with this team....something happens from the 7th inning on with the hitters and it's just baffling. Over the past few weeks the team's RISP average is brutal and it wasn't much better prior to that. The bullpen gets all the bad press for the late inning collapses, but IMO, the hitters deserve just as much blame. There are too many team ahead of the Jays right now and I just can't see them catching all of them, when they only play six innings a night...
  20. Apparently, there's now a big push on for CNN legal analyst and sometimes anchor, Laura Coates. Back in 2018, Alex himself suggested that she replace him: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/entertainment/tv/news/video-of-alex-trebek-suggesting-his-jeopardy-successor-goes-viral-after-mike-richards-steps-down-amid-scandal/ar-AANy8q5?li=AAggNb9
