  1. Here you go Patriot fans....you can't argue with Science: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nfl/10-year-old-wins-science-fair-by-claiming-tom-brady-is-a-cheater/ar-BBSIjl5?li=AAggNb9
  2. The Saddledome.... Up there with all-time great oxymorons, like Military Intelligence, Civil War, Jumbo Shrimp, Original Copy and my personal favorite: Rap Singer.....
  3. Yep. Saw the same thing. A bit disappointing, but you have to respect their wishes. Could by that Roy mentioned it at some point before he died.
  4. Gotta admit I'm a bit disappointed, H. Posting vid from that crappy Adam Sandler remake, instead of the Burt Reynolds classic? That's worse than Pete Carroll's red zone play calling....
  5. I guess it depends on your definition of "haunted". To this day, I feel a twinge of anger whenever I hear the name Scott Norwood....
  6. Does the Hall decide, or does his family? Really disappointed to see Larry Walker denied again, BTW...
  7. ^^^ I'll expand on that: As a Bills fan, you'll never convince me that the Music City Miracle wasn't a forward lateral and yes, I was pissed about it for a long time. However, the thought of suing the NFL, were I a season ticket holder would never have entered my mind. I'd bet that Sabrefan feels the same when it comes to hockey, even though we all saw Brett Hull's skate in the crease.... In any event, when I think about that loss to the Titans, I'm more pissed off at Wade Phillips for starting Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie in that game. I am and always will be, convinced that had Flutie started that game, the Titans wouldn't have been in position for the "Miracle". It's the same with the Saints. They should have closed the deal, but not just because of a blown call by the zebras. Too many field goals instead of TDs early...poor clock management late... When you put yourself in a position where a missed call can decide your fate, you're in trouble.
  8. Disappointing to see Raonic lose last night. Pouille was definitely a beatable opponent. When I tuned in it was looking good, (up 4-1 in the first) but it went south faster than Peter Chiarelli's tenure in Edmonton. I didn't watch the whole match, but from what I did see, he was off the form he had been showing up to that point. On the bright side, Serena lost as well, so it wasn't a total loss.
  9. I'll just throw this out there: A guy named Fraser Cain of "Universe Today" took a stab at the old Carl Sagan claim that there are more stars in the Universe than there are grains of sand on Earth. Of course, both numbers are based on estimates, but they're the best estimates we currently have. According to Mr. Cain, Carl was right. There are around 10 Sextillion stars in the Universe. That's roughly twice as many stars as grains of sand on Earth, or 3 times the amount of packs of chewing tobacco in Alabama.....
  10. Totally....I almost expect the nose to unscrew and Bugs Bunny poke his head out....
  11. Sad news for Cardiff City: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-guernsey-46954922
  12. So I just saw the video. Definitely a green laser pointer. Luckily for the Pats, the guy pointing it has the accuracy of Nathan Peterman.
  13. That would look even better with a big sign that says "BLOW ME".
  14. I thought maybe I was going crazy during the Saints game. (My ears are even worse than my eyes) I didn't hear the announcers talking about it, so I started to wonder "Am I the only one who hears a whistle going off all the time?" There was one play by the Rams that went for as big gain, that I thought for sure had been whistled dead for a false start, or time count violation....
  15. Ah, I see. (The guy said "our photographer", so I assumed photo) So the laser pointer shows up at some point in the video?
  16. Sorry, I've tried, but I don't see a laser pointer in that photo, but my eyes are getting close to 60. Maybe someone could point out exactly where it is?
  17. Nah. Trump will class things up for his boy Brady.... .....I'm thinking White Castle or Cracker Barrel......
  18. Best thing about that shirt is that I wore to a Super Bowl party last year and cleaned up on the Super Bowl Props, as well a the $5 a square score grid. As I collected my $135, I just pointed to the shirt and said "Don't say I didn't warn you"....
  19. Meh. They didn't "do the right thing" after the "Tuck rule" game, nor the forward lateral on the "Music City Miracle"......why should we expect them to start now? Bad calls happen. It's like death and taxes. Personally, I think the only good that might possibly come out of this is an amendment to the rules about what plays coaches can challenge. Could we see PI added? Maybe after the Saints-Rams we will.
  20. Not me. I could care less what Brady gets paid. For me, it is and always has been about the insufferable Patriot fans......that and the fact that I cheer for another AFC East team.....and the fact that Brady and Kraft are big Donald Trump fans. That's the Trifecta of Hate right there. Let's go Rams! (**** Kraft)
  21. I guess that will keep the Pats fans from complaining about the zebras for a while....
