Yes, it was. Not where the line you quoted ends and what follows in the actual quote. The report chronicles allegations of sabotage, burglary, trespassing, mischief and the torching of vehicles at protests against resource projects in New Brunswick and North Dakota. Anyone with eyes can see that you attempted to make the situation in BC look worse than it is, by posting a headline that referred to incidents that took place elsewhere. You deliberately omitted that part of the quote and didn't post a link to your source, in the hopes that no-one would realize what you were trying to pull. Unfortunately for you, some of us don't take unsourced quotes at face value. You can carry on denying it, but virtually nobody on these boards is stupid enough to believe you.

Rough night for Toronto sports teams.... ...if it wasn't for the Raptors, it would have been a complete disaster... -
So why omit the location? What a pathetic excuse for trying to post a BS headline.
-
So care to answer why you posted that misleading headline? You certainly did that and you certainly did omit the location.
-
So...if the cops getting kicked was what had you playing the "eco-terrorism" card, one has to wonder why you even bothered posting the headline about cars being torched, etc. and deliberately leaving out the location where those actions happened.... ...It's not easy to tap dance with your pants down around your ankles, is it Clam?
-
And this is "terrorism" in your eyes? ....such a snowflake...
-
Sure I do. Were you talking about confrontations that happened years ago? Because it sure sounded like you were claiming eco-terrorism is happening right now in response to the KM project. If you'll state that this is categorically not the case, then I'll rescind my objection to your insinuation.

Since you didn't provide a source, I had to google it. Funny how your quote ends just before the article states where the violence happened:... http://nationalpost.com/news/csis-report-on-trans-mountain-pipeline-describes-violent-confrontations-over-resource-development

FWIW Rob, I think this graph is probably accurate, but when you post something like this. you need to provide your source. This could have been made anywhere, by anyone....

Anyone catch Mitt Romney giving him the gears from courtside after that?

Alberta drivers....Amirite? https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/canada/small-plane-lands-on-calgary-street/ar-AAwjzJK?li=AAggNb9 Seriously though, props to the pilot for pulling this off. This could easily have turned into another tragedy. And apologies for those who don't think this belongs in this thread. I didn't feel like starting a new one and I thought we could use a bit of levity in here.

Grandy! Too bad it was needed. Osuna had the third out in the 9th, but didn't get the strike call.... -

A little dose of reality for the Jays today. Just have to hope they can get the split tomorrow. Meanwhile, I saw this story the other day and didn't think much of it. One of the Chisox pitchers collapsed on the bench....I thought it was fatigue, or something.... Turns out he had a brain hemorrhage and is in critical, but stable condition: https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/white-sox-pitcher-farquhar-critical-condition-brain-hemorrhage/ Scary stuff... -
He did run for the NDP leadership and finished third behind angry Tom and some other guy who's name I can't remember. When the opportunity came around again, he had young children and couldn't commit the time required to be a party leader. That doesn't mean that he can't continue being an MP. I think your "hypocrite" statement is completely out of line.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the "Free the Beer" court case in Quebec could have a bearing on this dispute between Alberta and BC: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/how-free-the-beer-ruling-could-impact-the-b-c-alberta-pipeline-war-1.4624756 The bolded part is the key. According to this ruling, Notley's threats of banning BC imports, or cutting off supply could be viewed as unconstitutional, should it ever make it to court. Perhaps a different tack is in order?

Haven't been to Edmonton in a while, but that last time I was through, there was only one left.... ...the one leading South on highway 2. (naturally)

Speak for yourself. I'm totally jealous of Johnny Gaudreau. He went in the 4th round in 2011. We passed on him three times. (Nik Jensen, David Hoznik and Joe Labate)

it's a tough call....I wonder if they can send a pitcher down instead? Mayza? Don't think he's pitched in weeks..... -
I think it probably comes down to using boycotts and threats, rather than actually ponying up and agreeing to share the costs of cleanup in the event of an accident that is commensurate with the split in revenues. JT, for all of his faults, is caught in a no-win situation. He's going to be criticized no matter what, so he's going with the plan that put money into the coffers of the feds and Alberta, because he feels that he has the most to win and the least to lose by doing so. As was pointed out earlier, the Liberals enjoy next to no support in BC and Alberta. If he can maintain the status quo here and possibly pick up a few seats in Alberta because of his support for the project, it makes sense for him to do so.

I have to admit: that was a name that I hadn't heard before. (Spent several years touring the prairies in my youth) Had to Google Map it. Turns out I just missed it, as I once passed through Rosetown and Kindersley (coming from Stoon) on my way to Alberta. -
...Gord Downie would be disappointed....

You may be correct, but I think you might need to rethink the use of the term "officially"...

Humboldt Broncos Involved in Bus Crash

Lost in all of this, the hockey season in Saskatchewan is about to resume and the Nipawin Hawks have a daunting road trip ahead of them. They travel this weekend to Estevan for the next round of playoffs. For those that aren't familiar with the geography of the province, the Hawks will be on a straight run south to Weyburn on Highway 35, where they will turn onto 39 and travel southeast for about an hour to Estevan. And yes, this trip will take them through the same intersection where the tragedy happened. To prepare his team somewhat, Nipawin's coach, Doug Johnson, took his players on a bit of a "test run" this week: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/broncoscrash/nipawins-team-faces-daunting-bus-ride-after-humboldt-crash/ar-AAvSelv?li=AArWeBz -
