I'd say that the "tuck rule" call should have been enough to last the Pats for a long time. But as someone who doesn't follow them much other than wins and losses, I'll take you word for it.
Regarding this game, as you said, we'll agree to disagree on whether the zebras helped your guys.
However, I think you're a guy who understands how such things work, so I will ask you one question:
What do you think the cumulative effect is on a defence, when they are forced to stay on the field, thanks to penalty calls extending drives for the opposition and shortening drives for their offence? Do you think they might lose a step and lead to some of those plays that you mentioned in your previous post?
