  1. Because in the court of public opinion, you're guilty until proven innocent. Or in this case, you're Clutch until you make an intelligent post. Because we all know that the two are mutually exclusive.
  2. You do have to admit that Clutch knows "embarassing" like virtually no-one else.
  3. You know, I can't remember. But it was obviously stupid enough to get the thread deleted.
  4. Not anymore. http://forum.canucks.com/index.php?showtopic=227764
  5. You know, this thread reminds me of the time my wife saw this clutch that she really wanted. I clutched my wallet and headed down to the department store. Unfortunately the clutch in my car gave out halfway there. So, I phoned my wife and told her that I couldn't get the clutch for her. She replied that if I wanted her to clutch me ever again, that I would get her that clutch. So, in the clutches of a dilemma, I decided to walk to the store to buy the clutch. A few miles (and a few hours) later, I emerged from the store triumphantly clutching the clutch. It just goes to show that with Alex Burrows type determination, anyone can come through in the clutch.
  6. Let this be a lesson to you kids, create a thread where you really put your foot in it, and someone will always be around to remind you about it whenever the subject of your thread does something to prove you wrong. All of you who started moronic threads during the losing streak: This could be you!
  7. Pretty lousy form by the Serbs from what I saw. They need to hire Bobby Knight if they want to get any distance with those chairs.
  8. Although they are both great players, I have a hard time getting into tennis these days. I used to be a big fan back in the Connors, McEnroe & Borg era. I liked the fact that there seemed to be some actual animosity between the players (Although being part of The Borg, Bjorn never let it show ) Tennis in those days even had their own Sean Avery, (no, not McEnroe) a guy named Ilie "Nasty" Nastase. Players today are just too nice.
  9. My favorite tribute to those who gave their lives is a song called The Green Fields of France, also known as the Ballad of Wille McBride. This particular version features the great Irish tenor, Ronan Tynan. It always hits home.
  10. I didn't see this thread yesterday. This morning I'm browsing Canucks Talk and I see it and think "Wow! Someone's going to look stupid". I think CDC needs a new Clutch.
  11. Darren Pang. And Chris Levesque is correct Canuck Champs.
  12. You are correct sir! (No points deducted for the misspelling of "Andrei")
  13. I know I'm kind of jumping the queue here but try this one: I have kind of a cryptic hint as well: Tennis
  14. Damn! I had just found Lacher too! BTW: My Whalers goalie still hasn't been guessed.
  15. 1 - Karl Friesen 2 - Tim Cheveldae 3 - Bob Essensa 4 - Fiset 5 - Tough one. Kay Whitmore?
  16. I agree with 1 and 5. I'm going to say Mikka Noronen for #3. The other two I'm not sure about.
  17. You're half right. (It's the one that sounds like a car model)
  18. Wow! How many lefties did they have that wore #31? If it's not Fuhr or Puppa I have no idea. edit: So it is Puppa. I guess you missed it before. BTW: Your "Gamble" is incorrect.
