  1. Can we maybe not blame Canada but praise France for a rare great effort?
  2. Thank you sir, C2X with the update save!
  3. Some big games tonight, and such tight series for the most part, great playoff hockey! PACIFIC 63 vs 45 CENTRAL 54 vs 87 ATLANTIC 131 vs 52 METROPOLITAN 123 vs 50
  4. OH I have not given up at all. I was happy to see 50 points thus far, and I know there will be a lot more coming. ...arg, lol....i see the 7 points...lmao...tonight is a biggee!
  5. SPeaking of which...only lost 5 to 2 tonight, and my allstar lineup is on the ice tomorrow, we could narrow the gap by another 10 or 15 points...just gotta keep landing some body blows and moving my feet.....but by god it really hurts getting hit in the head by mike tyson every night...
  6. Those two big boys in the east will fair as their lineups favorite NHL team fairs. The final could very likely go west if the 'right' teams don't make it to the final to begin with in the NHL. ((no offense, always an underdog fan!))
  7. PACIFIC 39 vs 42 CENTRAL 54 vs 69 ATLANTIC 126 vs 43 METROPOLITAN 116 vs 48
  8. C2X is the grande champion at Hide and Bo Seek though.
  9. A good night thus far for Ranger Fans, it hasn't righted the ship, but it has pointed her in the direction of safe harbour. A harbour with a torch shining brightly for all. Bring me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses. You get the idea.... A Gallant effort by the Rangers squad tonight.. Bourque flu 0, Vanek 3, Iginla 3, Meszaros 5, Emelin 2, Moen 2, ....15 points on the night, greatly needed. The opposition: 10. We will need to win each and every night out there in order to claw back, this is the beginning.
  10. ^hehehe Winnipeg loves them some canuckleheads hehehe^
  11. PACIFIC 27 vs 35 CENTRAL 44 vs 52 ATLANTIC 119 vs 37 METROPOLITAN 106 vs 33 Not to make this morning update all about me, but I have to..haha...I wanted to say that I find solace in being competitive amongst the majority of my second round peers. Notwithstanding Flo Rida and Devils the point spread among the majority of second round teams is just 25 points. 27, 33, 35, 37, 44, 52...I feel all of these teams are competitive IF this was a round robin, but it is not. This is the hardest trophy to win in fantasy sports, and it appears the Rangers are running out of time and options. I am not waiving the white towel yet, but it is hard to argue with 106 points. Well Done Mike, your last half of the season really took off, and your Devils are 'hard to play against'.
  12. Beasts in the East~ Florida and New Jersey mop up the eastern seaboard. Battle Royale Out West~ 12 points and 7 points are all that separate the teams in the Western Conference semi-finals, carnage will ensue! PACIFIC 23 vs 35 CENTRAL 36 vs 43 ATLANTIC 108 vs 30 METROPOLITAN 90 vs 27
  13. The Rangers management team has been locked up in the office all day searching for an answer to the Devils.
  14. The New York Rangers are looking to bounce back tonight after early round 2 setbacks. Thomas Vanek, Rene Bourque Alexei Emelin will face Torey Krug, Milan Lucic, and Carl Soderberg in easily the most important matchup of the day while Jarome Iginla and Jake Muzzin look to shut down Anze Kopitar and Matt Beleskey. This pivotal night for the Rangers starts with them down 14 points in the series against a stiff and unforgiving opponent and fierce local rival the New Jersey Devils, and tonight could well define the rest of the series. Edge of my seat!
  15. PACIFIC 7 vs 24 CENTRAL 20 vs 25 ATLANTIC 49 vs 17 METROPOLITAN 34 vs 10
  16. Sweet, I figured as much and just went with points from regular season for the 8 knocked out teams. And for the record, I too was letting my paranoid side creep in ..i even asked around to make sure the Agents were still around CDC in general, haha.
  17. I don't know if i will update daily most likely every two days or three, but here it is after one game in the 2nd round: PACIFIC 0 vs 13 CENTRAL 16 vs 4 ATLANTIC 0 vs 5 METROPOLITAN 16 vs 10
  18. As was alluded to earlier and now i get the joke...at the time i thought it was an aweful thing to say! lol
  19. SO tomorrow morning I will try to look up who had the worst points up to best points out of the 8 teams knocked out of the playoffs, and seed them 15th through 22nd pick, if it hasn't been done yet. It will take some coffee and logging back over to the reg season pickup sheet, but no biggee, now that I know the formula. Edmonton, Phoenix, Vancouver and Winnipeg, Carolina, Ottawa, Buffalo, Washington. I just can't recall off the top of my head the final standings nor what page to go look at to see them, so pickup hockey it is. EDIT: awesome sauce, C2X saved it in Post 8 in a spoiler!!! So...15th to 22nd picks are: 15th Edmonton 4610 16th Carolina 4842 17th Washington 4899 18th Vancouver 4962 19th Phoenix 5011 20th Buffalo 5067 21st Winnipeg 5076 22nd Ottawa 5240 Or of course, whoever owns these teams draft picks.
  20. Phew....14-10 for New Jersey i think..gonna be a tough battle this round, against yet another opponent I fully respect. Not going to turtle though, we have some hot hands on our squad, and lots of hockey yet to be played. Go Rangers!!!!
  21. I can work it out tomorrow morning
  22. PACIFIC vs CENTRAL vs ATLANTIC vs METROPOLITAN vs
  23. From what I know this is the the final results and second round matchups after game 7's of the first round last night. Congrats to all of us, on a fantastic league that we all enjoy which is only possible due to the hard work of the executive group but also of each and every GM from coast to coast, country to country. You guys rock, thank you. C2X has of course the final word, as this is more of a newspaper tracker...the league will be the official voice on matchups. ((the way I read the NHL rules this is what I think will happen)) 319-vs-192 Kings advance to face the Sharks 143-vs-243 Sharks advance to face the Kings 235-vs-208 Wild advance to face the Blackhawks 140-vs-171 Blackhawks advance to face the Wild 450-vs-288 Panthers advance to face the Bruins 280-vs-290 Bruins advance to face the Panthers 298-vs-259 Devils advance to face the Rangers 170-vs-140 Rangers Advance to face the Devils
  24. My first playoff series and I don't think I will forget it for a long while. One Point difference around the game five mark and really unsettled until the end of game 7! I think Da.Moose' Capitals team is fantastic, hard to play against and full of class. I appreciate also some of the early season and preseason advice that may well have come back to bite you in the end. ; ) Thank you on several levels DM, from the New York Rangers and most of all from a fan of your organization, me, Primal Optimist.
  25. TM, I hope you know I was talking firmly with my tongue in cheek. No real offense was intended at all. Your a great GM and a fantastic person for real, now that I have met you.
