Actually Seabrook is the player that Schneider is most often compared to from everything I've seen. So the real question isn't Tanev/Giroux but would you trade Miller for Seabrook in his prime?

There's plenty of other dance partners if the Rags aren't interested - that's by no means a done deal if they're after other guys. Not saying he'll get traded or not, but just because one team rumored to be in on him has a change of heart doesn't mean every team out there is no longer interested. As was mentioned by fanuck, there's a reason why Allvin hasn't publicly stated that under no circumstances are they dealing Miller - they're leaving every option open.

Bingo. I have no idea if Miller will be moved or not, but feel it's unlikely they gave Miller a guarantee one way or the other. It's a business, I suspect that if asked, Miller would say yes, he understands that.

Why does any of this surprise anyone? It's a cover-up involving the top members of the team on down - that's what you do in a cover-up, you get rid of anything incriminating. I'm actually surprised in the other sense - I'm shocked it's been this easy to get any action (like Joel resigning) and a fine (albeit a meaningless fine) against the team. I would've expected a lot of stonewalling from every single person interviewed, and the Blackhawks saying 'talk to our lawyers' at every single step of the way. Don't get me wrong, there's a long way to go on this, and way more heads should roll, but I didn't even expect this issue to even be relevant this far after the initial report. To get this far - perhaps there's hope the process will take due course?

If in fact this is true (only decided since last wed) to reopen schools with little to no previous planning then I agree with some that this is a great concern - too risky, too soon. Furthermore, if it is true that some of the protocol of how to reopen schools is being left up to school administrators - I have a great concern with that as well because, no disrespect to teachers at all, but former teachers who've become administrators have NO business making a plan to deal with a deadly/contagious disease. I hope you are right. I don't think a lot of people fully appreciate what Tanev adds to this team because he's so underrated and all the 'average' fan looks at is his injuries and how he doesn't factor into the most basic stats shown on TV. There's no doubt in my mind he had a huge role in Hughes development this year and could just as easily play the same role for OJ or Rafferty to differing extents if he was re-signed. That alone is worth not signing Toffoli imo because it's known that young PMD are worth more than scoring forward depth.

No, not to me. Acts of terror (terrorism) presumes violence or intimidating for the purpose of political or religious gain of some sort. I see crazy, I see revenge perhaps, I definitely see mental illness here, but I don't necessarily see terror specifically - but I respect that 'terror' is a fluid term in peoples minds these days so if someone wants to define this as such so be it - perhaps the subsequent investigation may reveal a specific motive which I have not read about yet?
