Perhaps we should get the thread up so a certain sh*t team can select first overall

After thinking we’d have leftovers for dinner, decided I’d make breakfast for dinner. Farmer sausage, eggs, potatoes, parsley, onions. Noice!

Another trainer told me that I should get one. Will be getting a gift certificate soon, will use it on one. As for an update on my fitness, still going strong. Not losing anymore weight at the moment, but that’ll change in time. But I’m feeling so much more fit. It’s exciting.

Tropico 5. It was free on PSN about a year ago or so. Never booted it up. Finally did as I was bored out of my mind (still haven't got to Witcher 3). Anyway, really enjoying Tropico 5.

Surprisingly, this trade came together very, very quickly between @gmen81 and myself. All in all, I think this is fair for both sides. Larkin is miles better than Kadri, but Kadri plays on the Avs, which is where the benefit comes playoff time. Karlsson is better than Chabot, due to the Shark factor and not the Ottawa factor. The salary cap hit is also a massive risk for me. But this is about immediate impact for the playoffs. And both Chabot and Larkin would not have helped come the playoffs, whereas Karlsson and Kadri will. It became apparent once the base was agreed upon that there would need to be a little more happening, which was where Vesalainen and Wahlstrom came in. Vesalainen is going to help now, which is where I’m losing out in the short term. However, with Hellebuyck and Connor as Winnipeg rep, with Dylan Samberg in the waiting, I’m well suited for Winnipeg players. I think Wahlstrom had a down year and will likely turn it around quickly in Bridgeport next year.

[Rumour] Laine in "deep talks" with Montreal
Monty replied to Baer.'s topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
If this is a trade and not an offer sheet, I’m not sure how Montreal can get this done without starting with Kotkaniemi, Domi, or Poehling. And even then, they’d still have to add a lot. -
Sonny Milano, A.J. Greer arrested in New York brawl
Monty replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in General Hockey Discussion
Depending on how this all went down, likely these two aren’t with their respective organizations come the fall. -
For those looking for a player swap, Lars Eller and Joel Armia are available.

Went to a similar guy in Winnipeg who’s been doing it for 27 years. Got to watch Seinfeld while he did the procedure. That helped.

After getting a vasectomy earlier this week, GM Monty did another crazy thing and not only made a huge trade, but decided to send it in 3 times. Damn these extra strength Advil’s.
-
I’d think anytime someone says they’re open for trades, it’s assuming they get better either now or for the future. Decided to put a spin on it. Let those offers fly, ladies!

Word out of Calgary is that they would trade any player to get worse.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have signed Arsen Khisamutdinov to a 3 year contract, worth $2.1M ($700k AAV). @Nail

The Calgary Flames are thrilled to bring Zdeno Chara on board. With a nearly full roster before, the Flames had a shade over $13M in cap space. Since we were a playoff team last year, it was important to keep the streak alive, while also having players who could help us go as deep as possible. Got some good players in the system, and when Vitali Kravtsov signing gets posted ( @Squeak *cough*), going to have a good roster. Will also sign Alexandre Texier to a contract, which will give us a full roster. Once that's done, here's what we will go into camp looking like: Kyle Connor - Dylan Larkin - Phil Kessel Alex Galchenyuk - Nick Schmaltz - Tyler Toffoli Andreas Johnsson - Alex Iafallo - Vitali Kravtsov Kristian Vesalainen - Nick Bonino - Oskar Lindblom Alexandre Texier - Devante Smith Pelly Zdeno Chara - Aaron Ekblad Jacob Larsson - Thomas Chabot Robert Burtuzzo - Cody Ceci Jimmy Schuldt Connor Hellebuyck Anton Khudobin That's certainly enough to get to the playoffs, but having a Red Wing, two Coyotes, and two Kings players isn't a recipe for a deep playoff run.

Excited to have Chibisov, who could very well be on the Jets roster next season. Prosvetov was a target for a long, long time. At the draft, it was down to him and Tyler Tucker with my last pick. Glad to sign him.

First, incredibly happy to have Jumbo Joe back for another year. At this point, I will continue to do what I have to bring Joe back year after year until he decides to retire. Till that day comes, happy bring him in for another run for the title. Luke Schenn was actually someone I almost signed last season when he signed with the Ducks, but held out as it didn’t seem like the right fit. Now, with Luke signing with TBay IRL, it was time to bring in the rugged d-man for a playoff run. As for the prospects, already spoke on Neaton, earlier. Kallgren was a prospect I nearly signed 2 years ago, but wanted to see how his development overseas went, first. Shepard is a gamble as he hasn’t signed IRL, but he’s been killer for the University of Minneota-Duluth the last few years, backstopping them to two Frozen Four titles. He’s coming back for another year to see if he can make it a 3 peat. Luoto showed well with the Jets at prospects camp, and word is he may push for one of the last roster spots. Abruzzese is an undersized forward draft pick from the Leafs who led the USHL in scoring. While I like all the above prospects, the two biggest prizes are Carl-Johan Lerby and Mark Kastelic. Lerby was signed by the Flames, even though they don’t expect him to come across till next year from overseas. But according to reports, didn’t want to wait until next year, when there would be a large bidding war for his services. Highly possible I’ll use on of my ELC slides on him. As for Kastelic, he was an overager who was drafted this year by Ottawa (barf). But apparently there’s some similarities in his game to Mark Stone. He scored and plays an incredibly hard game. So hopefully will see him soon, like Lerby.
