Meant GAA

F*ck me, that’s a good pick. I really didn’t think he’d get snapped up in the first round. I have(had) 9 guys on my list with my second round pick, and I was wavering on taking Dorofeyev with it. Him getting taken this early is a little shocking, but he has undeniable talent.

I like Ian Scott, but this next comment isn’t a reflection on me liking UPL more, just organizational depth IRL. Who do you think gets a shot at the net sooner? Ian Scott: Behind: 29 year old starter Fredrik Andersen signed through 2021, and behind Joseph “Brick” Woll Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Behind: 33 year old starter(???) Carter Hutton signed through 2021, 25 year old RFA Linus Ullmark Feel free to still throw an offer out, always open for biz. In Buffalo’s case, they are in serious need of even an average starter. Both Hutton and Ullmark shared duties, and neither had a GAA of under 3.00

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen might be on the move tonight. Get those offers in. Update: While two offers were enticing, ultimately standing pat until next season to see where my team is at. All rests on Carter Hart and the rest of my players being playoff performers. If that happens, then I’ll revisit then.

Looking for more 4th or 5th round picks. Don’t want your picks? Trade ‘em you gomers!

This. I usually have granola with hemp hearts, raspberries, and almond milk. But once a week or so, I’ll make scrambled eggs (with grated parm) and sausages. No way I could skip breakfast. Partly because I love it, but also because I workout right afterwards. I need the energy.
-
Looks like I’m getting close to that cutoff with Ukko-Pekka for a first rounder. Teams in the 15-20 region, reach out if you want him.

Also, does anyone wear white jeans?

Speaking of Andrew W.K., think I found my next costume party/Halloween/karaoke costume.
-
Unless, of course, Arizona drafts him IRL.
-
He’s not who I would’ve taken with the pick, but not because I think there’s a better player, just someone I like. You got a superb offensive defenseman.
-
Every year I enter the draft with no picks in the first round, and all except one year so far, I come out trading into it somehow. Still lots to go in the first round. Hoping to do it again!

@ActionJax09 Nice pick.

Can, with 100% certainty, say I have never watched The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. I agree that it's nice to have a release from real life problems. Turn off your brain, and just "enjoy" without thinking. Again, I haven't seen either show (and I won't). Currently get my release of stupidity from certain music. TV is harder for me as I've aged.

It definitely was a funny "review". But with the power that Pitchfork has (see: Travis Morrison solo debut of Dismemberment Plan fame) in the music community, they really needed to learn to curb their "dickery". It's ok to give a review a bad score if it's not good, but for Jet to just get a the video of a monkey pissing in its own mouth? That's CDC level laziness. People can think whatever they like of bands and albums they don't like, but Jet (who I don't like btw) did put effort into making the album. Either make a concereted effort to listening and reviewing it, or don't review it at all. And that's what the video review, the Andrew W.K. review, and a slew of others aruond the 2000s time reaked of. Writers who, understandably so, wanted to be seen and recognized for their writing, and less about their knowledge of who the band/artist is, and what their intent is. And also, in Jet's case, clearly a case where the writer didn't even listen to the album and wanted to have a laugh. Which is lazy.

I remember seeing that when it originally came out, but forget which review it was for EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/9464-shine-on/amp/ Not surprisingly, it was for a Jet album.

@ActionJax09 Check PM before picking.

I’ve got some powder I’d probably throw into it. Check the comment section on the site. Someone might have added it already with their results. Whenever I make something off allrecipes, I always go to the comments section to see what else to add, subtract, or improve on. 9/10 I make a change.

Just gotta say, for some reason, when minute 2:15 in the video (2:13 on the album), that’s one of my favourite musical moments. I have no clue. But I can listen to that over, and over again. Same with minute 3:13 (essentially the same jam). Just love it. I also love how, when the album was first released, Pitchfork gave it a 0.6/10. But on their 10 years later review, they gave it a well deserved 8.6/10. Their pretentiousness finally realized just what the music was. Fun. Also, shocked when I found out years ago that Andrew W.K. is classically trained in piano, having started at the age of 4, and actually released an album of completely original piano music. Far more talented than originally thought. But I love his music. To me, it’s like AC/DC. You know what you’re going to get, and you know all the songs sound the same. But damn can you bang your head to them

Absolutely. Pleasantly surprised how I can ensure I’m getting the right foods, as well as the right quantities, without sacrificing taste or what I like. Also found that homemade energy/protein balls are not only ridiculously fast to make, but a phenomenal pre or post workout snack.
