So, a Kadri suspension and probably a Thornton suspension. Just great.

Hmm. I know if I win my round, and you win yours, I’d be against the Islanders in the second round (f*ck!!!). You’d be against who, Toronto? Guess that series would come down to if Boston made it through IRL, or Toronto, huh.

Seriously? You’re only 15 points down. You could take the lead tonight with an Andersen win, and Marner and Rielly playing great as they usually do. However, if 15 points is insurmountable, which it may be, can I finally be comfortable with my 84 point lead?

Today was my first day at the gym where I made a huge mistake and didn’t eat before I went. Was so fatigued halfway through my workout. As soon as I got home, ate some oatmeal, which really hit the spot. Lunch now in MB, and I had my standard shake. Bananas, peanut butter, honey, almond milk. But man, not having breakfast was stupid.

Looks like having one this year wouldn’t have helped. Hopefully next year they figure it out, huh?

Carolina News: Big year for some of my prospects. https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/lightnings-alex-barre-boulet-wins-ahl-rookie-scoring-race/ Congrats to Alex Barre-Boulet on finishing first in the AHL in rookie scoring. Happy to have a Lightning forward for the future. Congrats to Scott Perunovich and the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs on winning their second straight national championship! I did have Mikey Anderson as well, who I’ll miss, but he was part of the package to bring in Brendan Lemieux. Not done with congrats, yet! Congrats to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for carrying a sub-par Sudbury Wolves team to the second round of the playoffs. He recently signed an ATO with Rochester (so not to burn his first year of his contract), and won his first game in the AHL. Posting a .941 sv%. Could be more now that the playoffs are underway in the AHL, but the future is bright in Carolina.

Yeah, not great for my team. I’m currently leading my series by 80 points, but there is so much left to go in the first round. That can be erased fairly quickly. Kadri being gone for the reminder of the first round is really going to hurt things for me, even with my lead.

I have two off days a week, Saturday’s and Sunday’s. But I just felt like doing something this morning. Didn’t feel right not doing anything. So first thing I did when I got up was research exercises that aren’t in my circuit. Came across a 3 minute plank exercise, where you alternate every 30 seconds. I was surprised that I was not only able to do 3 minutes, but how much I could feel it in my abs. Going to include this in my daily routine.

Or not Looking like it’ll be a significant suspension. Just like last year, that really hurt my first round points for those 3 games.

As long as he doesn’t get suspended for a game, Kadri

3 episodes into The Office, season 8 again. Ed Helms is the central character. This is brutal.

You’ve got a couple great contracts/players on your team. Carlson, Kucherov, and now Josi. Great cap management.

Two games in. 82 points. Big night by Smith, tonight. Shutout and an assist. I’ll need big nights like this to compete against @winterhawks. All he needs is for Point, Gourde, Wheeler, Malkin, Couture, and Rask to do what they usually do, and he’s right back in it. He didn’t finish first in the league, two years in a row, by accident.

The Twilight Zone - Episode 3 I kept on thinking/hoping there was going to be a Twilight Zone twist in this, and it was, without a doubt, the worst thing I have ever seen. No twist at all. Barely a Twilight Zone episode, and more of comment on society of how “white cops hate black people.” Except, we’ve seen movies do this before, and FAR better. To use a Twilight Zone episode for a political message, one that’s been done so many times before, and to do it so poorly, was very sad. I’d rather watch Mississippi Burning, Loving, or ANY of movie, which are countless, do this message. The only thing that made this a Twilight Zone was the rewinding time factor. This was really, really bad.

Nope. People hate women in movies. Alien, Kill Bill, Annihilation, Pride and Prejudice, Hidden Figures, Silence of the Lambs, The Hunger Games, every Meryl Streep movie, Erin Brockovich, Bend it like Beckham, Little Women, 9 to 5, Frances Ha, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Amelie, Blue Jasmine, Working Girl, Mean Girls, His Girl Friday, The Birds, Wonder Woman, The Favourite, It Follows, All about Eve, The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, Cold Mountain, My Fair Lady, Chicago, Elle. Give me a break 2019.

Brie Larson’s directorial debut, Unicorn Store, was panned by critics. Netflix and Larson claim it’s because male critics have an agenda. New Hellboy movie getting destroyed by critics. That’s not because male reviewers hate the male lead, but because it’s a bad film. Hollywood is hilarious.

I’m in week 4 of my circuit training. I’m only about 15 lbs overweight, so not a lot of work on that end to do. Excited to see how long it will take (6 months????) before it’s actually noticeable.

[Signing] Capitals re-sign Nic Dowd
Monty replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
I never said we did. Nor did I say Nic is better or worse than Beagle. So, I’m confused as to why you quoted me to begin with. It’s like if someone wrote down “I love chocolate milk, maybe a little pricey, but good nonetheless.” And you responded to them saying, “Chocolate milk is fine, but let’s not make this a competition between chocolate milk and orange juice.” I never said anything about orange juice. Just chocolate milk. -
You and me both.
