Carolina Movement: Assign: Andreas Johnsson to the AHL. Call Up: Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Brendan Lemieux. @Nail

Brassard to the Panthers. If Florida, who is FAR out of the playoff race, doesn’t flip him to a playoff team?

Carolina Hurricanes Early Playoff Roster Panarin - Kadri - Laine Johnsson - Thornton - Armia Maroon - Kotkaniemi - Frolik Lemieux - Eller - Ryan Faksa Kassian Pulock - Byfuglien Zaitsev - Dumba Coburn - Andersson Simek - Ozhiganov Martinez Smith DeSmith ***Black Aces*** Eric Comrie Joel L’Esperance Keegan Kolesar Question marks in Maroon, Kassian, and Martinez, as they could get traded IRL to playoff teams. Also really hoping Dumba is back in time for the playoffs, as he’s a massive contributor. If the stars align and all three get traded and Dumba is back for the first round, then I’ll need to make a tough call and scratch 2 players for the first round. On another note, as bad/disappointing as the Flyers have been this year, really happy that Jakub Voracek is still producing at a high rate, and that Carter Hart is firmly set as the team’s starter going forward.

Thanks to @Master Mind for processing, and to @D-Money for pretty simple negotiations. Since I already have Thornton and Simek, Karlsson wasn’t as needed as I previously thought. But, more importantly, after my recent extensions to “No Show” Laine and injured Dumba, I’ll be over the cap next year. Moving Karlsson was necessary to ice a full roster, while being cap compliant. Braydon Coburn is a pure rental. I need Tampa rep, no matter how little pool points he may put in. The difference in pool points between Coburn and Karlsson likely won’t be too much, especially in the first round; which, as we all know, is my kryptonite.

Still trying to figure out why I sent Lemieux down and called up Johnsson.

My wife is easily entertained and really likes superhero movies. You know it’s a bad sign when she falls asleep during one of them. She’s only done that for one other superhero movie. Thor 2.

Ant-Man and the Wasp There are few times when a movie makes me feel nothing when I’m watching it. Not bored, just an empty feeling. This was one of those times. I didn’t feel anything towards any of the characters, because they weren’t written, nor was the story, for you to care about them. Everyone was just on autopilot. You know that feeling when you’re waiting in line at the bank and there’s maybe 2 people ahead of you? Not enough to get impatient because you’ll get called up soon, but you just feel kind of “meh”? That’s this movie. Thank goodness it’s on Netflix. Then I really would have been angry after watching it if I had actually paid for this.

I was more bored than anything.

Goalies! Goalies! Goalies! Are you tired? Irritable? Do people find you difficult to be around and/or boring? Well, chances are you are all those things, and nothing will help you. You’ll just have to live with it. However, if you need a young goalie for the future and you don’t have Thatcher Demko or Ilya Sorokin, then reach out to the Carolina Hurricanes. Since I’m pretty much done setting my playoff roster, I’d be looking for forward or defensive prospects in return. Ukko-(little)Pekka Luukkonen Adin “Don’t make a mountain out of a mole” Hill Eric “Ex brother in-law of Hillary Duff” Comrie “Double L” Collin Delia Ivan “The Terrible” Nalimov

Yeah. I didn’t feel bad for anyone involved. Those working for him and funding him should have seen the warning signs. The first being that you’re putting on a music festival for the first time, and you thought “Hey, you know what’s easy, housing thousands of people in a luxurious way. We should do that and book musical acts on a remote island, and then try and do it in less than a year.” As for those “kids” who ponied up the dough? Serves them right.

CAROLINE NEWS - NEVER STOP NEVER STOPPING Alright, so I'm leaving on February 14th for India, returning on the 25th. While my roster is essentially set for the playoffs, I'm always looking to bolster my roster even more. With that said, I will be making every prospect in my system available for a trade; whether that be for players with term left, or pure rentals. Carter Hart is not available, as he's my goaltender beyond this season with Casey DeSmith. With all players available (check SS), https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18Mx2qBtjr-VWRC4dozwOFYRkR8VmkBj3BYJZONHWn9c/edit#gid=1855792456 , I will also outline the big boys: - Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - Jay O'Brien - Shane Bowers - Josh Brook - Scott Perunovich - Jacob Bryson - Eric Comrie - Julien Gauthier - Adin Hill - Alex Barre-Boulet Again, every prospect is available, but those are the bigger guys. Considering I am happy with my playoff roster, I'm not looking to trade those guys for scrubs coming back (ie: Ukko-Pekka for a recent 5th round drafted player). I always expect playoff teams to overpay a little for a playoff asset, which I have been known to do (see: Dennis Rasmussen). So I am willing to do what's necessary to set myself apart from another team.

Travelers - 9.5/10 On Netflix. 3 more episodes to watch in season 3. Love it. Sci-fi US/Canadian series. First two season were Showcase, season 3 (just released) was Netflix. Never heard of it until 2 weeks ago. So good. All main actors are Canadian. Many of whom had roles on Battlestar Galatica. If you love sci-fi, this series is for you. Didn’t know anything about it going in, which was nice. Very interesting concept, and the characters are really well flushed out. Obvious favourites right off the bat are Marcie (MacKenzie Porter, who’s the standout from moment one), David (Patrick Gilmore), Trevor (Jared Abrahamson), and scene stealer Grace (Jennifer Spence). Really recommend everyone giving it a watch. MacKenzie Porter really showcases her acting chops in a complex character performance. I really don’t want to give away the premise, as that’s the fun in watching the series unfold.

I stopped watching after 4 episodes (I think). My wife finished it, though. I was very bored watching it.

Watched it a week ago. Crazy that people bought into the creation of it to begin with.
