My wife, after 15 years, continuing to leave dishes in the sink to soak and NEVER putting them in the dishwasher. Lateness (for myself). I don’t mind at all if others are late, but I hate not being early or on time.

I love Blue Cheese, but damn! That’ll definitely ruin lasagna for me There you go! Lasagna was my favourite dinner growing up. My mom always made it for my birthday (I always requested it). Today, I don’t have it too often (once or twice a year). But I will flat out refuse to eat it if there is no spinach in it. Actually did last summer when I saw my in-laws. They were fine, though, as it was a huge pot-lock, so it’s not as if I didn’t eat anything. But I wasn’t going to eat a bastardized version

Just going to add to this. 1. I used Cake Flour, as Pao Flour wasn’t available in my area. Apparently that helps a little, but mostly the colouring. But if you don’t have Pao Flour, apparently Cake Flour is the best alternative. 2. The recipe I used yields 12 Bao’s. Now, I don’t eat a lot of Chinese food, because MB doesn’t have terrific restaurants in my area, only one in Winnipeg that serves traditional Chinese food, rather than the “take out” garbage we’re accustomed to. However, my understanding is that Bao’s are traditionally a morning/lunch food, with tea. I ate one this morning, along with my coffee, and it was enough to fill me with energy for the morning. Better as a breakfast food by itself than with dinner. 3. Keeps well in the fridge. Been two days, and I’m still eating them. 25 seconds in the microwave and they taste very similar to when freshly steamed. Great leftovers. All in all, they take about 2 hours(ish) to make, as you need about an hour for the dough. So they do take time. And if you have a family, you likely won’t want to make these right after work for dinner. However, make them on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon to have in the fridge for the next week is really smart. 10/10. Will make again.

Actually, the more I think about the movie and the open ended ending:

Oldboy (not the Spike Lee remake) So after finally watching this, as I heard great things, I think I need to watch it again to fully "get" why this is considered one of the greatest foreign films (and by some all films) of all time. The ending, which I'm not going to spoil here, was also not something I felt was really shocking. In fact, I correctly guessed what happened quite early on. And I honestly wouldn't even call it a guess, either. At no point was I, "Oh, I think this is what is happening." I said, "Oh yeah, this is definitely what is going on." I just worked under the belief that I was right, because it seemed so obvious. Going under my correct belief, I watched the film knowing what was going on. Did I enjoy it? At times. I felt it was better in the first 40-60 minutes. After that, it started to decline in quality. The ending itself, especially the last frame/scene, is quite interesting. It definitely leaves a bleak taste in my mouth. Would like to actually talk to someone more about it, because it is quite interesting the implications of what ended up happening. Should you watch? I mean, maybe. I don't want to say yes if you're squeamish, because the ending (last 20 minutes) is quite something.

Would you believe me if I told you that I haven’t had one offer or inquiry on my goaltenders?

Going to attempt to make Pork Cha Siu Bao (pic below) tonight. I’m sure I’ll fail.

Carolina Hurricanes - Back into the Fold As always, the Hurricanes are looking to bolster things. Majority of prospects, including the following, are available to add major playoff assets. Once February rolls around, I won't be available for the most part, so the sooner the better: - Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - Shane Bowers - Jay O'Brien - Adin Hill - Nikolai Kovalenko Mikko Koskinen could be traded as well. The idea has been to extend him, which will happen once the season is over if he isn't moved.

Luukkonen
-
Ukko-Pekka That is all.
-
Guessing they have one of the following last names: - Thiessen - Friesen - Neufeld - Loewen - Doerksen - Toews - Gerbrandt - Klassen - Penner

Steinbach

I prefer watching good movies over Bird Box, as well.
-
So would the Hurricanes

Mike Smith, Adin Hill, and Mikko Koskinen playing tonight. Guaranteed points from one of Hill or Koskinen, as they’re playing against each other. Also guaranteed I’ll get no goalie points.

I don’t know who this “New Player” is, but he’s mine next draft.

It’s honestly shocking how bad Justice League was. The tone, writing, acting, directing, it honestly reminded me of the Star Wars prequels. Nothing made sense. If you had told me it was written by a 13 year old, and directed by a 22 year old, it would have made sense why it turned into a complete mess. They spent $3M to turn this into this That decision was made by a movie studio that employs thousands of people for ONE movie, and hundreds of millions of dollars in making and marketing a movie, in order to make a billion dollars. That’s why, among all the problems with the film, it deserves the Red Letter Media Plinkett Review. It’s such a mess.

Netflix has all the seasons.
