Absolutely. Was simply a backdrop for the the story. Whereas the new series is much more about the sci-fi, and it sucks.

Everything about TNG is amazing. Always ending up each episode with some sort of lesson. And then there’s Star Trek Discovery

AGENT NEWS: First off, Happy New Year, everyone! Hope everyone had a good night and was responsible. Now that that's out of the way. Down to business. I have finished the full NMC/NTC lists that will be PM'd to each GM today. But there is one important piece of info that should be sent as a reminder to all GMs in regards to trading goaltenders. The OP with the CBA link provided by @Nail outlines all the goaltenders in the league that are starters. As outlined by the CBA, each team may only carry ONE starting goaltender. So, if you are trying to trade your goaltender (NMC/NTC or not), if they are going to a team that already carries a starter and they are not part of the deal, the trade will be VOID. EXAMPLE: If Mike Smith (categorized as a starter) had Los Angeles on his list of teams he'd go to (he doesn't BTW), even if interested in taking him on, D-Money would not be able to accept the trade if Devan Dubnyk was not involved going back, as teams cannot carry two starters. This is just a reminder to teams. I had a deal in place to bring in a starter a few months ago, but in order to bring in the goaltender, I had to find a home for Smith on another club first (as he had a 5 team trade list). Wanted to give everyone the heads up before entering negotiations, sending in a trade after working a lot on it, only to find out that it wouldn't go through if one of the teams ended up carrying two starters. HAPPY TRADING!!! UPDATE: All lists have been sent out.

Wife is driving into Winnipeg to pick up her sister and brother in-law at the airport while I’m at home putting together an Ikea daybed by myself. According to the instructions, you’re supposed to put it together with two people. Apparently, it’s not recommended to do it by yourself while you have diarrhea.

Trade Update: Just a reminder that I’m pushing to make early trades before the deadline, as I won’t have any time from February 14th till February 28th. If you have playoff assets you don’t think you’ll be using this year/beyond, as you’re rebuilding, send me a message so we can get to talkin’. All prospects up for discussion and can be traded, depending on player coming back of course. ——————————— AGENT NEWS: Tonight and tomorrow I will work on the NTC/NMC lists, and will send out messages to each GM where their players will go to tomorrow.

Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) Perfect film. Must, must see. Watch it. That’s all. ————————— Searching Usually films with a gimmick, like this one, crash and burn in quality. But it was really well done. Not sure if it was filmed like a conventional movie if it would have been better or not. Either way, it was well done and worth watching.

Both Adin Hill and Collin Delia with wins tonight. Smith and DeSmith? Riding the pine.

Ukko-Pekka having himself a real good tournament so far. One loss in 3 games, and that loss came to Sweden, surrending 2 goals on 34 shots. Should he end up, in 3-5 years, being the Sabres starter, will have a good 1-2 punch of Hart and Ukko-Pekka. But I’m getting ahead of myself. In the meantime, Mike Smith still sucks.

Black Mirror - Bandersnatch The episodes/seasons are getting worse and worse. This most recent episode, which you have to watch on Netflix to fully get, is quite weak. Like those choose your own adventure books that were all the craze back in the 80s, this is an interactive episode with many different endings. The problem is that, after the first initial choices, the novelty wears off. What’s worse, is that you don’t grow attached to the main character, or any of the characters, as you are constantly switching paths. Sucks, because to waste Will Poulter, even in a supporting role, is a shame.

Definitely not me.

Been trying to trade all but Hill and Hart. Apparently they’re not very good.

Collin Delia with 46 saves for a Chicago win tonight. Mike Smith (sort of an NHL goaltender) Casey DeSmith Mikko Koskinen Carter Hart Adin Hill Collin Delia I knew that my plan to sign, draft, and trade for every goaltender imaginable would payoff eventually. Except for Smith

This is precisely why, for me, I’ll be missing out on 19/20 year old prospects. For me, if they’re still eligible to be drafted IRL, they shouldn’t be signed in fantasy leagues. However, I’m fine being in the minority on this. And, quite honestly, not bothered in the slightest. If I miss out because I can’t be bothered paying attention to the rules the exec team has constructed and put in, then that’s on me.

Decent World Junior rep. Mikey Anderson: US Captain Josh Brook Shane Bowers Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen Jay O’Brien Nikolai Kovalenko

May as well jump into the messages.

Luca Sbisa (on the Isles) is available for the first draft pick offered.

A Simple Favor Positive: Paul Feig proving that, when he’s not writing a film, that he’s a capable director (as his movies are terrible) Negative: The movie sucks

As of right now, the Metro rules all. Carolina and Washington? Yeah, we hold both wildcard spots

Carolina Hurricanes Report Well, my team is finishing off the calendar year pretty much where I thought I’d be. Set my team up (the core) to be pretty predictable, standings wise, quite a while ago so there would be little surprises. That said, the injury bug is taking a massive toll: Dumba (likely out for the season) Martinez (surprise surprise) Mike Smith (I mean, he’s got to be injured again, right?) Armia So while my team keeps trucking along, really need some good news on the injury front. Which actually brings me to...

I don’t remember what happened two days ago. Dad brain.

Thanks to @Tylez for the quick negotiation. I already have Fiala, so didn’t really want a 30 year old center on my team from Nashville. I do like Coburn, but I’ve got a lot of defensemen to play soon. Myers is garbage.

You should sell your goaltender.

Looking to make a big splash ahead of the trade deadline (as I’ll be in India). For the right game breaking player, no prospect is off limits. That includes: - Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - Shane Bowers - Jay O’Brien - Scott Perunovich - Josh Brook - Julien Gauthier
