It’s a slog, that’s for sure. Once in a while I think about finishing it, because I remember liking certain parts. But it’s not a film that’s really entertaining. The dialogue is typical Tarantino dialogue, which means its quality, but it’s not a terribly clever script, which is understandable considering they’re confined to one location for majority of the film.
But at nearly 3 hours long and set in one location, it better be clever, interesting, and entertaining on a consistent basis. This had elements at times, but far too inconsistent.
