  1. Nick Bonino available out of Chicago. And everyone else.
  2. Casey DeSmith still available. Looking for a 2nd, or a combo of 3rd and later picks (or equivalent prospect). First come is the first served.
  3. November Prospect Report 1. Julien Gauthier Julien had a great start to the season, but has gone dry the last 6 games. Had 11 points in 16 games, and has now been snake bitten with no points since. The good news is that he’s on pace for more than last season, and he’s still really young. So there’s a lot of time for him to develop. And according to reports, the guy is a really hard worker during practices with an A+ personality. 2. Alex Barre-Boulet Another terrific find by the Bolts. 17 points in 18 AHL games. Chances are he gets a call up sometime this season. He’s on an ELC, so I won’t have him contributing anytime this season, but really happy to see him make the most of his opportunity in his first year in the AHL. 3. Aleksi Saarela With 14 points in 22 games, he’s on pace for the same point total as last season. He’ll be 22 soon, so it’s coming close to “now or never.” Saarela was my crown jewel in my first draft, so I’m not ready to give up on the guy. 4. Alec Rauhauser Signed Alec just before the start of the season, in the hopes that he’ll get a contract after he’s done college. Right now, 10 points in 13 games for a defenseman is a great start. He’s not the fastest skater, which is the biggest knock against him. Hopefully his height and offence will be enough to push him over the edge. 5. Eric Comrie After a bit of a rough start this year, in part because the Moose were not playing well in front of him, Comrie has managed to carry the team on his shoulders and strung together a terrific few games. Like a bunch of my goalie prospects, I’m not sure what his future is in Carolina, as I’m stacked with them, but for now, he’s only upping his value.
  4. November STUDS and DUDS STUDS 1. Matt Dumba - 78 Pool Points The Wild have, again, surprised everyone by finding themselves in playoff spot after American Thanksgiving. A big reason has been Dumba and his one timer on the PP. Looking forward to years of his booming shot. 2. Dustin Byfuglien - 75 Pool Points This seems to be a quiet year for Big Buff, as he’s not finding himself on the highlight reel as much. But he’s been the Jets most consistent defensemen this year, and on pace for his best year. His recent concussion is a little worrisome, but I don’t expect him out for longer than a week or two. He’s a warrior. 3. Patrik Laine - 109 Pool Points (51 for my team) He didn’t spend majority of the month with my team, but he had an absolutely phenomenal month, scoring 18 goals in November. Safe to say he’ll be a staple on my roster until he retires. DUDS: 1. Ryan Pulock - 16 Pool Points When you leap over Mike Smith for worst player of the month, you know you’re in trouble. 2. Nikita Zaitsev - 12 Pool Points Feel like, at this point, I’m paying him in the hopes that he’ll get a secondary assist when the playoffs start. 3. Radek Faksa - 29 Pool Points Think Faksa has shown that he’ll be nothing more than a bottom 6 forward. Not bad, but disappointing nonetheless. *Prospect Report will come shortly*
  5. Tyler Myers, Nick Bonino, and everyone else available.
  6. @Tigs Watching Boston College vs. Boston University. Farabee just got destroyed. Hopefully he’s alright.
  7. It will be provided to teams without asking for the lists.
  8. Announcement: This is still months away, and I certainly do not expect anyone to take note of this right now. So I’ll be making this known in January and early February, just to keep everyone “in the know.” So our trade deadline is, I believe on February 25th (Nail will confirm). Now, from February 14-24, I will be overseas in India for work. While I will be returning on the 24th, chances are I will be suffering from awful jet lag for the next week afterwards. So there’s a chance I may not be as available during the deadline day on the 25th. While this doesn’t effect me too much for trades, it will effect my agent duties leading up to the deadline, due to players waiving their clauses. In preparation of this, Nail and I have already spoken and I will do the following to ensure everything runs seamlessly while I’m away: 1. Provide all teams in early January with the teams their players with NTC/NMC/LNTC will go to. 2. Nail will be copied in these messages, so he has it recorded as well. 3. Post several times prior to leaving about me being away and not available during February 14-24. Things have been running incredibly smooth over the past few years, and this is just another way to make sure we are all prepared.
  9. Oleksiak’s helmet got Buff right in the chin. Unstoppable force? Meet immovable objection.
  10. Carolina Movement: IR: Dustin Byfuglien to IR. https://www.arcticicehockey.com/2018/11/29/18119129/dustin-byfuglien-has-a-concussion-placed-on-ir-winnipeg-jets-pittsburgh-penguins-oleksiak-dryden-ken
  11. Adin Hill getting the start tonight. Aside from being the first goalie I drafted, which automatically means he’s going to be a stud, can he do the unthinkable and make the Coyotes look like an NHL team? UPDATE: Congrats on the 29 save shutout! Third year in a row that I’ve used one of my ELC slides on him. With the amount of injuries that Raanta has sustained, perhaps he’s going to see a lot more time in the next couple years. Either that or Chayka makes more awful trades and ships him out. That’s the smart money.
  12. Oof. Sucks for him that he couldn’t turn it around.
  13. Carolina Hurricanes Been a while since a roster update: Panarin - Kadri - Laine Sheary - Thornton - Voracek Maroon - Kotkaniemi - Sheary Johnsson - Faksa - Ryan Aston Reese Injured: Frolik, Armia Martinez - Byfuglien Pulock - Dumba Andersson - Zaitsev Fantenberg - Ozhiganov Smith DeSmith Minors: Saarela - Halbgewachs - Lafferty Twarynski - Smith - Bakos Kolesar - Olofsson Sbisa - Kovacevic Bryson - Lintuniemi Carrier - Sulak Rauhauser - Hutton Gilbert - Hollowell Koskinen Hart Comrie Nalimov Delia Vejmelka Unsigned: Shane Bowers Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen Josh Brook Luke Martin Mikey Anderson Jay O’Brien Cameron Hillis Scott Perunovich Nikolai Kovalenko Ben Jones Luke Henman Matthew Villalta Simon Johansson ELC Slides: Julien Gauthier Adin Hill Alex Barre-Boulet Prospect Report and End of Month “Studs and Duds” to come on Saturday.
  14. Going to make this weekend. Anything with cilantro is automatically a 10.
  15. Been eating them as leftovers for almost a week, now. So, so good.
  16. Was so good. I never made meatballs from scratch before. Half beef, half pork. So good.
  17. Swear, not following the trend: Effective immediately, I will be stepping down as the GM of the Vegas Golden Knights. This was a decision that was going to be made at the end of this season. However, I thought it would be better now, rather than a month leading up to the draft. This gives the replacement time to prep for the draft, instead of weeks, leaving no real time to find a replacement or plan for the draft and free agency accordingly. Thank you to all over the past 3 seasons.
  18. Carolina Hurricanes Artemi Panarin and his incredibly friendly $6.75M contract could be available. Received an offer for him today that got me thinking. So if you’re looking for an elite forward who produces on one of the best contracts for fantasy points, send in an offer.
  19. I haven’t watched an episode of Narcos.
  20. The Detroit Red Wings have signed the following players to one year deals: Ben Street: $925k Gabriel Bourque: $975k @Blue Jay 22 @Nail
