      I like Bruce and am divided

      If they don't want him then let him go (I understand they didn't hire him and may not like the way they see things, maybe too relaxed in the room after losing)

       

      Maybe they want to bring a new guy in as for the team not to struggle with new changes at the beginning of the next season (like the last 2 years have)

      I prefer to keep Bruce and let the Canucks (free fall if they are going too) and expose the character of players as they finish off the year

      Mixed feelings. He's a dead man walking, he knows that. He knows he isn't coming back. Letting him go would be a mercy to some extent.

       

      At the same time bringing in another coach at this point won't do anything, if anything it might hurt our sinking to the bottom, which is what we should be doing at this point. Plus, there should be more head coach candidates later on, we've yet to see a coach fired this season. I'd rather us take a more thorough approach to finding a head coach. 

       

      I've no issue with letting Bruce ride out the season though, but management would need to come out and state that they're doing just that. There would need to be transparency on that front.

    Not sure how the Oilers fit him under their cap though this year - they could send Poolparty to Min but still need another player moved.

    This is a tough one - if it means not retaining cap and the other team tosses in a prospect then sure. Maybe buffalo as they have 3 2nd rounders and a kid like Joseph Cecconi? Big kid RD might be an option?

    So after 2 years 1 initial vaccination and 3 boosters (last 1 4 weeks ago was the new Pfizer Bivalent) I contracted COVID Dec 18th. Won't lie it whooped my arse for 3 days but here we are Christmas Eve and I am back on my feet and will be able to visit family over Christmas while staying masked when visiting them. As someone with high blood pressure/high cholesterol and asthmatic I can only imagine how much worse this could have been with out the vaccine. Merry Christmas CDC and be safe, be vigilant and best to all in the new year.

    The thing with Bear was he showed a lot of promise in Edmonton his first year and I think he needs to continue to get his confidence back and he may be that coveted RHD we need.

    Trying to find a silver lining in the scenario if Bo is traded and I guess it would be he should garner us a coveted RHD and a 1st round pick which is why if he isn't going to re-sign then he must be moved for assets and not allowed to walk ala Tanev/Markstrom

    Just got my 3rd booster (am Asthmatic so playing it safe) - got the Pfizer Bivalent and other than a sore arm for a day all good. Co-workers harassing me for getting another booster but am one of only 2 in a plant of 120 people per shift who has not gotten Covid yet.
