  1. You guys are hilarious....WE NEED TO SCORE MORE!!! WE NEED MORE SKILL!!!! (gets a small'ish skilled guy....) WTFFFFF WE DO NOT NEED THIS !!!!!asfdsafsa CDC You guys are hilarious.
  2. Green coached him. A lot of people seem to have forgotten about this....Ridiculous how some people just go on thinking coaching has nothing to do with a deal. Calder Cup run shall be good exposure for him as well.
  3. You mean when the Sedins took it like they did in 2011...that worked out really well with us eh!!
  4. You mean the coach who has made it past the second round in every year he's coached in the WHL...Went 30-3-1 after the break with the AHL affiliate of the Stars last year? Also just beat out Blashill (the Wings AHL coach that a lot of educated fans wanted.) to advance in the AHL playoffs?
  5. It was moreso his opinion on who's the leading candidate and not actual factual.
  6. So you're saying that it's possible that if we crossover and play the Hawks it's possible that the same thing could happen? Doesn't matter now since Dreger retracted what he said and also mention Willie Desjardins as well who is someone I much prefer.
  7. 76 Points in 82 GP and 15 Pts in 17GP? Yep you're bang on again......anything else oh wise one or did you realize how dumb you sound?
  8. By your logic, I guess that means Kesler, Sedins, and Burrows are all pass their prime as well....cause the Sedins are going to be older than Forsberg same with Burrows and Kesler is just a tad uyounger than Kariya as well as Arnott guess we're fucked.
  9. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0014122007.html Wrong. Forsberg, Kariya, Arnott, Erat, Legwand and hell even Hartnell were on this team. Still couldn't get past the 2nd Round. I'm iffy on Trotz.
  10. Are you just saying that because you have no clue what you're talking about? Since we're all wondering what the Bruins have added in terms of prospects since he's been apart of the Bruins.... Torey Krug - Leads the Boston Bruins in Points for the playoffs. Although undrafted, I guess this would fall in his lap....... Jordan Caron - Learning the Ropes by playing a limited role like Kassian and all our young kids have done. Ryan Spooner - 23GP 0G 11A. Nearly a PPG player for their AHL affliate this year. Alexander Khokhlachev - 65GP 21G 36A 57PTS playing in his first season of the AHL. Malcolm Subban - Arguably their goaltender of the Future despite a poor showing. Matt Grzelcyk - Lead BC's defense in scoring a year ago and put up decent numbers again with 11 pts in 19GP Seth Griffith - 69GP with 20G 30A for their affiliate. Ryan Fitzgerald - 40GP 13G 16A 29 points at BC. I could go on, but just because their players aren't in the NHL...doesn't mean that Benning hasn't done ****. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/105109/subban-leads-deep-group-of-boston-bruins-prospects/ Yeah I know take all that with a grain of salt, but it sure as hell beats all this what has Benning or what will Benning do for us crap.
  11. Just to clarify... As much as he "helps" Chiarelli ... his drafting/scouting looks horrible :/ seems pretty stubborn, once he has a bad sense of a player, he would push for a change to be done (Behind the B's, Tyler Seguin trade segment) Sure he drafted some guy name Tomas Vanek, but more misses than hits during his tenure there. Which is why I really like Mike Futa from the LA Kings. Pearson, Toffoli Sure Jim Benning is a frontrunner, but will he say yes? According to Jason Botchford - the guy might not even accept the offer

  13. Philly figured out how to beat them like with all AV teams...soft n play with no heart but entertaining. I have been a Philly fan since LOD days so people who think I am hating I am it's simply the truth. We saw it here and we are seeing it now.
  14. He has a lethal shot. Kassian has always looked to pass first before releasing his shot for whatever reason. If we add Ritchie, I believe next year's draft is loading up with tons of skill. If we get Benning, I can see us taking Virtanen or Ritchie. I'm more so leaning on Ritchie due to our OHL scouts having a bit of a better track record, but if we continue on our WHL swing of things after Shink pick, Virtanen can very well be coming home. I wouldn't mind either. As for Merci's arguments in regards to Lucic being a part of their shut down style, what? He's a puck possession player, which is a part of the system. To say that he himself is a shut down player is so laughable.
  15. I read it as speculation based off of the team's speculation. Even if there is a source, it's highly unprofessional for the writer to name their source who said that this is how the Pens are how to obtain Kesler.
  16. He was on a better team............he was disgusting in his own zone.
  17. Sure Hodgson was good defensively, but he wasn't dominant like Horvat. Let us not forget that Horvat also has a leg up on him since he won the Wayne Gretzky award. Horvat was pretty much in a shut down role who potted 16 goals. Count'em 16.
  18. Not really Canucks talk no more but AV has turned down the job in Dallas. Perhaps doesn't want anything to do with the mighty Canucks destroying the Stars..
  19. Why does anyone want Torts? What has he done to warrant this man crush on him? After his ECF appearance he's been ousted twice in the 1st round, DNQ another year and made it to the 2nd roiund two years.
  20. TO his credit he did say he didn't prepare the team well enough...and was expecting Daniel back a lot sooner...lesson learnt. HOPEFULLY.
  21. Would have been foolish to expect Jordan to excel right away especially when he has had 3 different coaches. I knew it would take time.
