    I was wondering about that. I'll bet he wants to just turn it all off after tonight.

    Would be cool to see though... hopefully its atleast offered to him. Afterall, he is nicknamed Captain Canada for his loyal service to Team Canada

    don't put words in my mouth please didn't say he was the best just saying plus/minus isn't the stat that determines how well a player plays defensively and pointing out the fact none of the 4 Edler Bieksa Hamhuis or Garrison have played great the last few years at this point all of them should be trade the d-core should be blown apart

    There is a difference between not playing as good as you can be ( Hamhuis, Garrison ) and being completely detrimental to the team ( Edler ) . The amount of mistakes that lead to goals or getting walked around by opposing forwards has been glaring with Edler for years now. Go back and look at some of the threads about Edler from the last few years and we always heard " He's young, he will get better " or " look at how many points he gets " . I dont think anyone will deny that he has a hard shot and once a game or every 2nd game he will throw a big hit but that is not enough to justify how bad his play has been.

    Man does Edler suck. And to think we still have him for 5 more years

    I hope Edler just turns beast mode next season. He looks great today.

    Its funny how 2 different people can watch the same game yet have complete different opinions on a player

    it's also not the first player to do the exact same play as Edler did tie up his man stop the scoring chance and both end up in the net watch some hockey happens all the time

    Tying someone up is fine, but thats not what he did. He drove the player into Lack .

    So just because he isnt the first player to do it, that doesnt make it a dumb play ?
