I really love the attitude Burrows has displayed over the years. The tremendous steps he took over his career to get to where he is today. I can't deny it, I often found myself getting angry at him for plays he made or penalties he took over the years. He kinda grew on me. I wasn't that big of a fan to start with, but I've been a fan for a long time now. He still holds to date my absolute favourite hockey moment of all time and best goal ever scored by the Canucks when we "slayed the dragon". If he has to be moved, I really, really hope JB can work out a deal with the Canadiens to move him there before the deadline. That would be in my mind just about the only fitting place for him right now.

Things are looking up. With Bo we all know what kinda leadership qualities we have there aded with lots of potential, more than I expected in therms of offense. Brock Boeser seems to have the tools to be a star in this league, an offensive threat and a big leader too no doubt. At the same time I have to add what we already know but partially forgot, Brendan Gaunce is right up there too in terms of leadership qualities. These are the kinda guys who we can build around and feel good about what kinda leaders we have. Jake too, but he's definitely a different kinda team guy. Stands up for his teammates.

Hope he comes back soon. Dying to see how he performs in the regular season. Looked so refreshing in the preseason games he played.

Eriksson was brilliant with the twins against Finland. We have a winner here. Can't wait for the season to start!

This was a great signing, no doubt. But if this were to be the only signing, it would be semi bad since we really need offense for the other lines too. The Sedins can get it done as we all know, but the issue we have is not fixed by any means. Couldn't be happier about today, but we need more. Not just to satisfy my need for signings.

Nothing to feel bad about. It's not a failure even if you don't sign in the first hour of the FA frenzy

Another guy I have 0 knowledge of up until now. So much excitement around this pick that you have to like it.

I wonder how do they teach the word 'Tank' in school these days? It would seem that only school aged fans use this word on these boards. Only the members that have joined 2013 or 2014 use that word here... I'm pretty sure some things has been taught backwards nowadays... No NHL franchise will tank just to pick high. Some franchises are just poorly managed and they tend to finish at the bottom most years. You could never attract a player to sign, or a player to waive a NTC for a trade to a team that plans on losing games on purpose. No fan base will pay to see that. No ownership would approve of that as they'd lose money. No league would approve of that cause it's bad for business. Tank about it?
