With the owner of Tottenham Hotspur, in court for insider trading. Is there such a thing as an ethical billionaire?

Great resume tips? I'm redoing my resume to make it ATS compatible and great. How far should a resume go back, is it okay to put a line under my name and contact information (ATS concern), omitting irrelevant information, etc.? I was laid off a few weeks ago and have been looking for work since.

I have hired a few people this year, here are my thoughts.....remembering I am a sample size of 1
Our resumes come through our website portal and have no AI prescreening them before they land in my folder.
For my most recent hire (last week), I received over 100 applicants. I opened every single resume. The applicant has 5 seconds to catch my attention
I generally look at the last 10 years, or the most recent 3 jobs. Anything after that, I gloss over very quickly
Within 5 seconds, I have already made a judgement to continue reading or not. If I am on the fence, I keep reading, but only occasionally do I end up considering that person. So first impressions mean a lotThe tricky part is finding a balance between providing detail vs keeping it concise.
Example of too much detail (made up example): I purchased fruit for a local store, including apples, oranges, grapes, cherries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, lemons, limes, kiwi, cranberries, bananas, tangerines, watermelons
Formatting is important - spaces and layout can catch the eye, or make things look cluttered.
Anything after the first page is glossed over. I've never made a "move to interview" decision based on someone's hobbies, etc.
Best of luck with the search!!

Sixty years ago today my dad took me to my first ever hockey game, a Western League game between the Vancouver Canucks and the Calgary Stampeders. The Canucks won 3-1 in the old PNE Forum, which was an ancient, rat-infested building even then. Vancouver's goalie was a 20 year-old named Gilles Villemure, who played all 70 games without a mask. I don't think they even had a backup goalie on the roster. The big scorer was 5'7", 150 pound winger named Buddy Boone. Boone was one of about five guys in the whole league who had mastered this new thing called a slapshot. Old school coaches were not at all receptive to slapshots. I was thrilled to see my first ever live game and it has remained one of my fondest memories. I lost my dad just over a year ago and wish he was here to remember that first game we spent together.

2023 can take a flying leap. Today's event? Chemical burn on my right hand, day spent at urgent care. All good now, but holy hell, this year sucks already.

Homers? Sure, root root root for the home team, but at least have some objectivity to your thoughts. Some here are delusional

Let me ask you this....
some people are quick to get into PGT after player X plays well / scores / etc and they are
"oh where are all the player X haters now?? Don't have the guts to come in here....but they'll be back when player X doesn't score"
why do those same people rarely show up in a PGT where player X played poorly?Seems a little hypocritical to me...

I somehow passed my CPA CFE. Still having trouble believing it's finally over.
I still have to get experience to become a CPA, but the worst of it is over.

Today it will be one full week since my last cigarette. Hangin' in there so far.

Finally decided to quit smoking. Just finished my first 24 hour period in years without one. Wish me luck.

Really sad to hear of the passing of Glen Todd (Hastings Racetrack). He was a good man...even lending $1M in an interest free loan to keep things rolling during COVID. Was the man who brought Mario Gutierrez here and mentored him.
RIP Mr. Todd...you will be missed. -
That's all, folks. There were a total of 33 trades today.
-
fans have to accept that trades they don't want to happen, need to happen in order that we can take a step forward.

Halak has a NMC. He cannot be moved or placed on Waivers but “get rid of him” lol. “Bring up Martin” lol.

Who were Henrik's linemates in the 2009-10 season when Daniel was out for 20sth games?
-
one site on you tube asks, do you know to help kidney stones pass?. my answer was just get out of their way.
-
I don't understand, why do the Canucks have to trade anyone at all?? if Boudreau started the year here Canucks would be at the top of the division. My plan would be not to do anything at all

how many hours a day do you spend on line? on cdc?
being retired and mostly house bound, i'm on line for close to 12 hours per. he says, sheepishly.
-
up to 4 hours online a day - about 2 of those reviewing financial info and sites, etc
here....a lot less now. Prior to this season, I would say an hour a day non-game days and here for most GDTs and the first hour plus of PGTs. This season it is 10 minutes a day, and maybe a period of GDTalso currently working from home, so that's 10 plus hours a day if you want to count that...

I honestly don’t think I’ve seen any Canuck/ex-Canuck more overrated than Stecher and I was a fan during the Mason Raymond days.
