Spectacular??

Man, zero urgency, Ho-him effort at best. This is a must-win game against a very beatable team…and this is the best we’ve got? Guess that’s why we are where we are in the standings

They’re trying? Guess we’re watching 2 different hockey games. 3 goals against in 59 seconds

Two pucks over the glass and playing the puck with a broken stick? We deserve to be one of the worst teams in the league, we’re just incompetent

We’ve become the Leafs from 2006-16, or the Detroit Lions, or the Pittsburgh Pirates. The brand is becoming synonymous with losing & failure. THAT is the exact opposite of what you want. There was a time 10-12 years ago where the brand, at minimum, was synonymous with regular season success if not postseason success. It’s an overused buzzword, but the CULTURE is rotten and it’s been smeared with dirt & mud. This franchise has to gut it & start over. I don’t think anyone is untouchable, not even Petey or Hughes. Nobody. Listen to offers on anyone. Montreal made the finals, had their worst season in 100 years to follow it up, and sold off much of their assets. Guess what? They’re in a playoff spot when many expected they’d be a lottery team. If that market can handle a rebuild, anyone can!

There was no pressure or zone time in the 3rd, in fact, Toronto was the team playing like they were pushing for the equalizer! When they skated off the ice, they all looked like “meh, oh well, another day at the office.” I wish players didn’t have guaranteed contracts and you could just send players down or flat out release them.

We f——ing suck, period

I honestly hope Boston absolutely slaughters us tomorrow. Like a merciless beat down. I can’t take much more of this. Seven years of hockey w/o any passion, physicality or even a hint of mental toughness or the ability to hold a lead. This group should be run out of town on a rail. At least in the late 90s we saw the last 50 goal season of Pavel Bure, the emergence of Markus Naslund & the hiring of Marc Crawford. This is absolute garbage, insulting to players like Trevor Linden, Naslund, Bure & the Sedins who worked their asses off for this franchise.

I want to see someone show some emotion. Fight someone, smash your stick over the crossbar, scream at a teammate, something. These guys look like they don’t even care. Honestly they’re all millionaires anyway, they don’t seem to care much about embarrassing the franchise

We can’t keep saying it’s the defensive coach or the PP coach, fire this guy or that guy, it’s the damn players. They aren’t performing or just flat out aren’t good enough to win hockey games at this level

You’d think so. They’ll say how they’re embarrassed & it was unacceptable blah blah blah. I’m long past remotely giving a damn what they have to say. It’ll be the same effort the next game & the one after it
