  1. Sometimes I read things you say and feel really sorry for you.
  2. At the end of the day abusing and putting animals in harms way for human entertainment is pathetic, and if you support that, then you are an idiot.
  3. I'm going to leave this right here...LOL @ people thinking a meat based diet requires less resources. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07k3z96 https://www.theglobeandmail.com/world/video-un-says-plant-based-diets-can-help-fight-climate-change/
  4. All I can say is LOL! Do you own a cattle farm or something, because this is hilarious! YOU ARE EATING DEAD FLESH from something that was once living, we live in a country, where we have COPIOUS amount of food options. I would understand if this was 1930 and food was scarce and we didn't have alternatives, but we do, so now IT IS about morals/ethics. Also, when did I say I'm a better person than you or anyone else? That is your own assumption from your own insecurities because deep down inside, you know it's wrong. Those cases I posted are in our god damn backyard, in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, BOTH of those farms are still operating today, so they're not "shut down" like you said, so you're just typing up bull$&!# in every post. I'm curious, how old are you? and where are you from? because maybe this will help me understand your lack of understanding. I feel like I'm talking to my 90 year old grandpa. Want to know something, I was once like you, I ate meat for 27 years, then I stopped. I stopped because I thought about why I ate meat and I couldn't think of any logical reason except for "protein and tastes good". That wasn't good enough. I've been Vegan for 2 years now, I'm in the best shape of my life, I run the grouse grind in 40 minutes, my body-fat percentage is sitting at 11% today from 21% when I was eating meat, I lift 225lbs on the bench press at 170 lbs. Also, I'm more focused, I wake up feeling great everyday! These were just some of the benefits of going Vegan but that wasn't my intention it was strictly for ethical reasons. You want me to go visit a farm? I've actually tried, last time I try to go inside a slaughter house they threatened to call the cops and told me they wouldn't show me what's happening inside. "Get off the computer and educate yourself in real life. If you take the time to actually learn about this subject people might stop laughing at you on the internet." LOL! I have 2 undergrads and a MBA, I'm fairly educated, I'm not worried about the 3 people in this thread that think eating cancerous food is important to preach to the world. https://www.cancer.ca/en/prevention-and-screening/reduce-cancer-risk/make-healthy-choices/eat-well/limit-red-meat-and-avoid-processed-meat/?region=bc (Straight from BC Cancer)
  5. You know we're animals too, if you've ever been in a biology class, you would know our DNA is actually much more similar than you would think.
  6. I think this is different than religion, this isn't really a belief anymore, this more so ethics and a moral obligation. You need to be more open-minded to the fact that when you consume meat, it was at a cost of someone's life.
  7. Also, how self-indulged are you? what other "REASON" to have living animals? are you even listening to yourself....so should we kill humans in mass too, I mean many of them serve no purpose based on your logic?
  8. Old data? I think you're going off old data. If you haven't been paying attention take a look at the New Canadian Food Guide, that'll give you some insight. Also, regulations - does this look humane to you? if it does, then you're probably a psychopath.
  9. This is what a grade 10 education gets you folks. Stay in school kids.
  10. hunting is different than mass producing farm animals feeding them a mass amount of antibiotics and hormones, making them live in absolute disgusting conditions in there own urine/fecal matter and then mass murdering them like their lives mean nothing.
  11. except meat eaters contribute to the mass murder of animals and vegans are trying to help prevent that
  12. uhhhhhh you know how many hectares of land is required for raising farmed animals? required to feed them? The rainforests in South America are being damaged by deforestation by dictator leader in brazil. "Also, did you take in to account that the average person simply can't afford that lifestyle? Almond milk is at least $3 more than dairy milk in most stores. Not eating meat is a privilege and choice. Treat it like religion: stop shoving it in people's face's and stop demonizing those who don't agree with you." This is easily resolved when plant-based choices will be scaled. Google economies of scale. I'm not shoving anything into anyone's face. But we are in a MASSIVE crisis. Climate change is real, the environment is at stake, food shortages are real, and animal abuse is real, cows/pigs/chickens do feel pain and mass murder should be treated the same way as if you were to harm a cat/dog. I genuinely care for the future, I care for my kids and your kids, you're living in denial. You want research, just google it, seriously, the evidence is at your fingertips, either you can continue to live in denial like you are now, and think of any sort of rhyme or reason to justify your actions, or you can change.
  13. I understand, but it seems like I'm being censored, when others are on the other side of the argument have free will to say anything and post misinformation.
  14. So while we're at it, should we raise dogs to feed people? should we mass produce dogs in farms and kill them in mass so we can feed people? I want to understand your logic. If we're talking about feeding people, did you know world hunger would be solved in 20 days if everyone was plant based? why? because we wouldn't be dedicating resources to feed animals, do you know how much water/food a cow needs and then it's sent to slaughter to feed maybe 100 people? it's extremely inefficient, in fact it's borderline idiotic.
  15. Does anyone have the ticket packages by group for the quarter seasons here?
