  1. There is, he is really struggling. It's like if a colleague is struggling at work. They may be struggling because they don't like where they work. It happens, it may or not be happening here. It may be age catching up to him, maybe he doesn't mesh with coach Clark. Many possibilities for sure. Honestly, I don't see a scenario where he plays another game for the Canucks. They can't risk it if they are gunning for the playoffs.
  2. What aren't you understanding? I've said "maybe" numerous times. When I say maybe it means its a possibility, like the one you just mentioned. It's an opinion, an idea, concept. When I say maybe it means it's a possibility among other possibilities. Is what I suggested impossible? Really?
  3. Huh?! Lots of red light reasons to think he may want out. He's struggling, big time. He may never play another game for us or anyone this season. If these last bunch of games are his sample size resume, who the heck will sign a struggling 36, 37 year old, smallish, goaltender who is playing like crap. His career may well be on the line here.
  4. I read those as well. But who knows how he feels today.
  5. Maybe, but if he wants to play another season in the NHL, he won't if he keeps struggling. May be best for him to move on and show he still has it.
  6. First off, I said maybe Halak doesn't like it Vancouver. He is struggling so it's not improbable that it's just not a good fit. Second, NMC was negotiated on the off season and lots has changed since then. It is possible that Vancouver just isn't sitting well with him and he would welcome a change of team.
  7. Maybe, but maybe Halak doesn't like it here, just doesn't feel comfortable. He's playing like he isn't comfortable.
  8. Yip. I would add Hogs as well. He's had some struggles but is going to be cheap to re-up, and maybe he breaks out on a value contract.
  9. I haven't heard this and It would explain a lot. Ribb injury, I wouldn't go to a comedy bar with a rib injury, let alone play contact hockey.
  10. Honestly, I wouldn't blame him if he wants out. He's been patient.l and I'm a fan of him either way.
  11. I think it's more of a "see what interest is out there for a return" and that's fine. That's a good GM doing his due diligence.
  12. My opinion, I think Bo has been unfairly kicked on here. He is what he is, a reliable, top notch, second line center. A master at draws, and it's not appreciated enough. I look at Toews, Lindstrom, Bergeron, all cup winners recently. These players aren't fighters, emotional players. They are surrounded by a great cast. That's the failing of the club. Bo's failure would be he isn't a hall of famer like the above mentioned, and that's more than acceptable, and nothong he can help. I still say keep Bo, if he wants to stay with the team.
  13. Maybe. But if Bo is traded, I would expect no less than a Chychrun type one for one.
  14. I'd be shocked if Bo is traded before a Miller extension is inked. I love Bo, I want him a Canuck forever. But if Miller is resigned, Bo will probably be moved. My crystal ball has Bo extended and Miller traded. But my crystal ball sucks.
  15. Maybe, I got to think Halak is going to want out and would take a chance. This could get real toxic in a hurry if he isn't moved.
  16. I agree. I think we discussed a possbile scenario where JR finds a suitor for Halak on waivers, Halak for free. Once the suitor is found, and Halak agrees and waives his NMC, off he goes. It just isn't working for either parties and it's time move on. It's best for everyone involved.
  17. Well, Canucks are one of the hottest teams in the NHL after BB took over. There is that.
  18. A lot of the teams identity and direction does depend on JT. Trade deadline, extension talks this off season could go either way. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
